LOL, I hear ya. I was watching KHOU news last night and Gene Norman was basically reporting an impending TS as good news for our parched area!

This one seems Texas bound, and not expected to intensify rapidly. Glad you folks will get the rain.

Please, God!

Hurricane Celia formed the gulf and hit Corpus Chrisi in 1970. Nice sized storm. Caused a lot of damage. I’ll take some damage in exchange for the rain.

A 70 mph tropical storm, moving slowly but steadily, would do wonders for the state's drought.

You’ll have to get your own cyclone. Texas is so dry it could suck all the moisture out of a Cat 5 before it got to Oklahoma.

I hope this baby makes it to mid western AR. If it does I will sleep on my deck during the entire time it rains!

...and all the other Texas gardening peeps: good luck on the rain. Tropical storms can be a hard way to get the needed precipitation, but I suppose right now y’all ain’t picky.
