No, we are not picky right now. Lake Travis is right at 50% capacity and every city around here draws water from it, so it is getting critical. We have been under a burn ban for months.
Where I live in Texas the normal average rainfail is about 25 inches per year. We have had 1 inch since last October. We could certainly absorb the other 24 inches hee hee hee
And any relief in the temp would be appreciated. I was in my garden watering a few moments ago (row watering) and the temp was 108 degrees (in the shade) when I got back in the car.
Thanks. Have fingers and toes crossed it’ll be a nice slow rain so there won’t be run offs and flooding. Won’t do any good for the garden since it’s long dead (in the mood to start some transplants for fall!). Might help the lawn and trees though. And help the pastures. Those ranchers sure do need every drop they can get.
