WASHINGTON -- President Barack Obama's advisers would recommend that he veto a bill authored by House Speaker John Boehner to cut government spending and raise the debt ceiling in two stages, the White House said Tuesday. The House is expected to vote on the Republican bill on Wednesday.

Seems to me that the WH is making more and more threats on the American people. Is this why we elected him? Warning is one thing.....threatening is something else. Impeach him.
Democrats - the party of NO!
They should vote and if passes, send anyway. Let it be on the record who obstructed it.
Reid, Pelosi and Zero’s black hole policies, that have added over 4.5 trillion to the debt in last 2 1/2 yrs...the most of any Administration ‘EVER’. Zero is the destroyer of our economy....not anyone else.
And where is the rest of that stimulus money, that was supposed to be put away to stimulate the economy this year?

Our nation’s future is in the palms of people like Valerie Jarrett
Hey Valerie, when you are not socializing the American economy and redistributing its wealth to Eric Holder’s people, how’s that miltary strategy advice working out these days? Leon been in touch with you on running the war?
Why is he just making speeches and threatening to veto bills?
What is Obama’s plan?
We know what Obama is against, but what is he for?
Hang in there, Mr. Boehner; most Americans are with you.
Great! No deal! Just cut the fricken budget already and let Obama veto that, too. Right up to election day. Let the people decide.
Tell howdy doody and dingy harry that cut cap and balance is all they are going to get. Adjourn the house and go home.....red
Very well, unless the House Republicans lose their Will or sense, they can win the debate with the Marxist demagogue in the oval office.

Yep. I have various objections to this bill- but they should definitely call his bluff (yet again).
“call his bluff”
Let’s roll back to the 2000 budget, and then adjust it for this year by applying the yearly inflation adjustment allowed for Social Security for the years 2001 - 2010. Any monies already distributed above that level should be due to the treasury. It solves the problem without a debt increase needed, save perhaps a small one to cover the time allowed for the return of money.
I guess we can expect yet again another presidential press conference or speech calling for “balance,” blaming Bush for the deficit, and damning those evil oil and gas companies and corporate jet owners for not paying “their fair share.” I imagine most Americans are getting tired of this crap.
“Let it be on the record who obstructed it.”
They don’t want to be on the record - that’s why they are trying so hard to keep kicking it on down the road ... this or that won’t take effect until after the 2012 elections etc.
Earth to the political class, you are being paid to be ... “on the record.”
He is for more taxes.
