A man disguised as a police officer began shooting where youth were attending a Labour party conference at Utoya, Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg has just confirmed.
If memory serves, they are due to leave Afghanistan this year anyway.
high?...see post #45
..never happen with the bowing muslim in the White Hut.
Norway sent aircraft to the Libyan adventure. Qadaffyi said he’d get revenge and set Europe ablaze. This might be his firat installment. There’s a whole population of terrorists from the IRA to Fatah, who owe Qadaffyi for his help a generation ago. They’re political, not religious fanatics, but they retain skills and networks. This could be only the start.
A radical muslim group... muslim Global Helpers of Jihad have claimed responsibility... per Mark Stein and NRK... does that satisfy your PC response?

>Execute everyone involved!
Better yet, public slow torture.
True enough.

The Muslims do not know 'brazen' - they are what/who they are. Sad wake-up call; but hope it is at least heard.
Let the deportation of the radical Islamists begin. (Which I believe from reports; the threat of which, per particular Imam or 'whatever', prompted this response.)
Yes, the response here; particularly critical. They need to ask; "what would Australia do?" And then do it!

So sad. Prayers for the children. I’ve been to Norway and as others have said, the people are wonderful. It takes a sick, sick creature to do such to innocents.
And the analyst is talking about the "0.1%" of Muslims living in Oslo who might be Islamist extremists, whereas the vast majority of Muslims living in Oslo are peaceful people. On what basis can he get away with making such a ridiculous and unsubstantiated claim (rhetorical question only - of course he can make such claims unencumbered by the need to speak factually - this is the BBC, after all).
BBC is also "reporting" rumors from Twitter that the island shooter was a blue-eyed, blond-haired person.
No attempt whatsoever to separate out speculation from facts. This is the highly-touted, "objective" BBC that is so often held up as the gold standard of news reporting? Massive fail...

More Terror Threats Against Denmark, Norway. Michelle Malkin has much more here, including that Norway took action this week against a leader of Ansar al-Islam, a terrorist insurgent group in Iraq made up of former Baathists and Islamists. The group was once known as Ansar al-Sunnah and was responsible for many attacks, the murder of thousands if Iraqis as well as many snuff videos. To describe them as Kurdish is not untrue, its does operate in Kurdish areas, but it was active in the whole of the Sunni areas of north and central Iraq and was not exclusively Kurdish. And not the type of Kurd who from who we gained so much support, Describing them as Kurds is like describing Saddam as a “Kurd”.
Also of note Ansar al-Islam was also allied with al-Qaeda umbrella group The Islamic State of Iraq which sought to unite all the Sunni insurgent groups under one flag until the death of its leader Abu Omar al-Bahgdadi and also AQI’s last leader al-Masri.
Michelle Malkin:
More details. The targets were the Prime Ministers office and an Oil Ministry building, which remains on fire.
FYI: Yes, there is a militant Muslim presence in Oslo. See this.
Also: Norways Muslim rapist problem.
And this: Mullah Krekar claims Islam will win.
And this looks like a good excuse for a jihadi bombing, doesnt it:
A Norwegian prosecutor has filed terror charges against an Iraqi-born cleric for threatening Norwegian politicians with death if hes deported from the Nordic country.
The indictment, obtained by The Associated Press on Tuesday, centers on statements that Mullah Krekar the founder of the Kurdish Islamist group Ansar al-Islam made to various media, including American network NBC.

Ansar al-Jihad al-Alami (Helpers of Global Jihad) are claiming responsibilty attacks. So why did they attack? McCants says that it was because of the occupation of Afghanistan and the insults to the Prophet Mohammed. The Telegraph reported that This information “has come from via Shmukh [alQaeda forum...ed]....
UPDATE: The group has recanted on the forums. They say that they are praising the bombing and shooting, not claiming responsibility.
If you go to the one of the live threads of 9 11 2001 a Freeper posted within minutes that it was Bin Laden and Al Queda. There was no wait and see then.
This sentence encapsulates everything that is wrong with the response of the Western world to the “Religion of Peace”. We keep thinking that the fault is ours for not being accommodating enough or not explaining ourselves clearly enough. Until we wake up and realize that these people believe that their only path to heaven is paved by converting or killings the Infidels, we will continue to react incorrectly. We are fighting a war of savage proportions with political correctness and we will continue to suffer enormous losses until we actually go on the offensive!
twitter just exploded with tweets stating 20-30 dead on the island,,,sources was inetrview form witness on sky news
All it takes is one very vicious and very charismatic mullah to create this kind of chaos.
Who is YOUR hometown mullah?
