...Last night I took TLG with me to Orange County to watch The Undefeated.
Disclaimer: I am an unabashed Sarah Palin fan
TLG Im not exactly sure what she thinks about The Hockey Mom from Wasilla. I have taken TLG with me to see a few openly conservative flicks
from the dreadful An American Carol to the poorly paced and no character arcs whatsoever but looked like a million bucks Atlas Shrugged. I like taking TLG with me to these because knowing that someone who tilts left is sitting right by me helps me view them with a bit more of a critical eye...

Perhaps the movie operators in California turned the volume up to loud on purpose. We went to see the movie yesterday afternoon in Dallas and it wasn’t loud at all.

Perhaps the movie operators in California turned the volume up to loud on purpose. Or maybe they just screwed up. That occurred to me.
To: EveningStar
If it was that loud I’m sure that it was that particular theater. And what I wonder about is the technician in charge of volume, etc... or, it was Bush’s fault.

The presentation quality has been poor lately.

Maybe the moral is to never hire a sound technician who is hard of hearing.

I have to say, what was written appeared to be a fair review. Now, let me go read your post #74. It likely won’t be in theatres around here (philly suburbs), so I’m going to cough up the $100. It can go next to my Reagan collection ;-).

Most movies I've been to lately have been too loud. Thanks for the reminder, though. I'll bring some ear-plugs when I go to see Harry Potter at the IMAX theater this week.

Perhaps the "movie operators in California" just have PDS!
By the way, will Tammy Bruce & Friends be aiming to turn every post-film meet-up into a fag fest?

I agree, seems most of them go from barely audible whispers, to ear shattering screams, frustrating as hell.

The hate mongers are out at the Internet Movie Data base and more likely than not have been stuffing the ballot box with bad reviews. I bet only a handful of those who give it a single star even saw the movie. Cheers!

Pretty fair review. About three weeks ago I got to watch "Still Point in a Turning World," Steve Bannon's movie about Ronald Reagan and his ranch. The music in that was also overbearing, often covering up what Reagan himself was saying. Most of all, it was unrelenting. And I'm an old rock and roller used to loud music, and lots of it.
Steve's style is the rapid cuts, and it worked well in "Generation Zero," and wasn't bad in "Still Point." But I could see where typical moviegoers might find it disruptive after a while.

That has to be the worst. I hate going to movies that are too loud. I even hate watching movies at home through the stereo system because it gets too loud. My hubby loves it loud and obnoxious though...lol.

There is alot of PDS going around these days. It really is mind boggling and makes no objective sense. The woman is amazing!
