AARP needs to be split up. The senior advocacy function should be a separate operation from the insurance function. AARP is suffering from a big conflict of interest.

Irresponsibility for a vested interest at its finest.
Go ahead AARP, for decades all of us have known these programs are going insolvent.
What selfish fools.

Obamacare, which AARP supports, cuts
$4.95 trillion from Medicare. The AARP is just another mouthpiece of the Obama administration.

The Communists and Socialists of AARP are speaking out in favor of Obama. Who's surprised? Nobody.
Many people get Social Security benefits without putting much money into the system.

I guess the $500 BILLION cut in medicare is not harmful, since it was put in place with a ‘rat-run congress.

Obama BOUGHT AARP to get their endorsement. They are as evil as he is.

I am not sure how much is cut from Medicare, but certainly AARP is Obama’s mouthpiece and can KMA.

Gee, where were these phony, hypocritical, bloodsuckers last year when their (then) Messiah was cutting $500 BILLION from Medicare?
Oh, that's right, they were pushing Dear Leader's "Death Care" for all these bottom-feeding, scumbags were worth, knowing they stood to make a pile of dough from kickbacks in insurance policies they hawked to gullible Seniors.

“...seniors have earned through a lifetime of hard work.”
Jefferson said each generation has the right to enter life free of debt; no generation has the right to force the following one to pay its debts (to do so is to make the living slaves to the dead).
Today’s “seniors” acquiesced in all the foolish spending
of the past decades—spending as if there was no tomorrow; now it is their moral duty to bear the burden and pay off those debts.

Just wondering though. What happens when the government messed up some senior’s credit because they’ve withheld their SS checks?

Today's "seniors" will not vote to sell their own children and grandchildren as slaves, but they will vote to sell each other's children and grandchildren as slaves.

I guess the $500 BILLION cut in medicare is not harmful, since it was put in place with a rat-run congress. You beat me to it. They say NOTHING while they are promoting the Obamacare fiasco which included massive changes to medicare, and now want to express concern about proposed necessary changes?!? Whiskey Tango Foxtrot.
AARP is nothing but a group of insurance hucksters. Why anyone continues to be a member is beyond my comprehension.

This is the same group that threw out its own base when said base refused to back Obamacare.
