Well, some parts of Oklahoma got some much needed rain. It's still hot out there though. Heat Advisories continue through Saturday.

Am planning to take Bo out to the lake later today.

We did download the Windows Updates yesterday, 4 for XP, 7 for Windows 7.

We had a lot of rain yesterday and maybe somemore today, but clearing up for the weekend.

Construction at our schools is in full swing; it'll be amazing if they open the schools on time, though.

Been reading about the great 50s drought..My husband was in the Navy during part of it ..I think it broke the year we got back to Texas..Seems I recall driving around to see the flooding in Dallas.
Dare we hope for a hurricane...? Sounds like an extreme solution.
