that’s an unflattering picture.

Take a close look at it. It almost looks like a man’s face.

I wonder if they photoshopped that to look less than flattering.

"that’s an unflattering picture."

She looks beautiful to me, and like a girl.

Agree - certainly NOT a good photo of Sarah. In fact, at first I did not recognize her.

I’m sure Newsweak did not use “creativity” in this photo. /s

It’s called ‘hitting the wall’. Maybe not quite yet, but it’s fast approaching.

I agree about the picture.
It must of been hard for them to find a picture that was not good of Sarah.....but they managed to get one.

I agree with you, that IS a most unflattering picture of Sarah. She looks very old, very masculine.

The wrists look masculine too. I’d be surprised if those scumbags didn’t Photoshop that picture.

I think she looks great! And she looks like she could EASILY take down our limp-wrested Obama.

Exactly...they doctored it. She is so beautiful in person...I have seen her up close and can attest to her gorgeousness!

I agree. An “unflattering” picture. It’s a man’s jaw line. They’re trying to make her look like Willem Dafoe.

She is thinner

can’t worry about looks

if she runs and wins...she will age bigtime...the men sure do

and aging is exponentially harder on gals...unfairly

I disagree. I think it is a great picture of Sarah. I think she has been working out a lot which is what you are noticing

I was thinking the same thing. Looking at it, I’m reminded of a line from a Pied Piper of Hamlin poem that we had to study in school. “Come on, piper, do your worst! Blow your pipe till you burst!” They did their worst, and she still looks pretty good.

Of course they did. You don't think they want her perfect face on the cover of their biased magazine do you? We can expect all sorts of unflattering pictures of our Sarah when she runs. But then, think of what we have done to obama. Fair game when you accept a role of power. That's okay, we have her back.

See my post #46 which I posted before scrolling through these earlier posts and reading yours.
You noticed it too.
I am not even sure they do this stuff intentionally; I think the choices they make are just second nature to them.

Let's keep praying for America, and for Sarah.

Because the prayers are *working*.

Witness this photo: it was designed to make her look uglier, more masculine: but all it did was add an air of confident gravitas which undercuts their whole meme of "Caribou Barbie."

Almost brings to mind Isaiah 54:17. Don't know for sure if that's what's happening, but sometimes it does look like it!

Cheers!

I’m gonna have to go against the flow on the picture. I like it. I’ve seen a couple of pictures of her with almost no makeup, and her features look similar in this picture.

At the risk of criticism (BTW I like Sarah and hope she wins), I think she would help herself if she would wear less makeup. I prefer the imperfect look of a real person to the Barbie-doll look. And cut her hair shorter, less “poofy”. And get her bangs out of her eyes. I feel distracted when, while someone is talking, their bangs move every time they blink their eyes. And she would do well to keep the pitch of her voice down at a lower frequency. I’ve noticed her apparently trying to do this more recently. It doesn’t come naturally for her, so I know it’s hard. But it could be done if she really wanted to.

Now, one could say, “She’s just being herself, and she refuses to change in the face of media criticism.” And I agree with that. I like the fact that she absolutely refuses to bend to media pressure and simply sticks with who she is. And many others, I’m sure, are attracted to her for that reason. But I think more would take a second look and even like what they see if she made some changes. I believe there is much to be gained by forcing people either on the fence or even negative to look at you in a different way at some point in the campaign. And this would be a way to do it without losing any support from the people who already like you.

Even if they tried to ugly her up, it didn’t work.

Sarah can’t take a bad picture.
