Morning all, didn't see a thread for today so I created one.
I never heard anyone say they saw Casey with the dead body or heard her confess or her fingerprints on the shovel or even sufficient motive to kill. For all we know, the grandmother or the brother could have done it.
You really need a lot of blood for a case like this. Then there is the “accidental drowning” theory that hung in the jury’s mind. The prosecution seemed to be unknowingly pushing that for a while.
I saw the cover of a tabloid at the supermarket yesterday, saying she’s pregnant already. I didn’t read any more, so I have no idea how they’re saying it happened or who the father supposedly is. I don’t believe it .... just FYI
Atthorities have already planned for it and have barricades and officers all over the place. They expect an outcry. But George Anthony and his wife will not be there...probably left for a hotel room somewhere.
By this standard it is now easier to get away with murder than shoplifting. Common sense is no so common.
Does she really think she’s going to walk out of court and her old friends are going to flock to her. I’ll bet even her family disowns her.
Misdemeanor sentences are served concurrently in pretty much all cases. She’ll be out later today or tomorrow morning.
“Reasonable doubt” has become “beyond a shadow of a doubt”.
People don’t know or care to know the difference.

That's sort of a weird statement as convictions in communist countries usually don't require any real evidence.
So what you are saying is that you prefer the justice system prevalent in communist and islamic countries where charges by the state result in guaranteed conviction?
I hope the Jury is asked about the duct tape on little Caylee.........and about WHY Casey (the so-called “Mom”) knew her daughter was dead for more than a month and keep quiet about it. Poor Poor Caylee.

He did one day in jail a few years back for offenses related to the case, got disbarred, and has been sued (I think he declared bankruptcy, not sure on that). We really don’t hear anything about him anymore. He’s an embarassment, and the locals, especially the one-party power structure (black Democrats and their guilty white enablers) here, prefer not to talk about him. When Crystal Mangum got hauled up on charges for stabbing her latest man, oddly enough, nobody went to The Fong and asked him for his expert opinion on the case. Funny, that.

Jose Baez, I would refrain from shooting my mouth off over this verdict, if I were you. There are a lot of people out there who aren’t as level headed as I am, and they’re not going to be as likely to take this verdict in stride.
This verdict is going to make some people furious.
