WASHINGTON, DC – A new Iowa poll, which shows the most recent leanings of likely Republican voters in the first-in-the-nation caucus state, has Michele Bachmann in a statistical dead heat with Mitt Romney. This morning Bachmann appeared on Chris Wallace’s Fox News Sunday and was asked “Are you a flake?” Was Wallace simply being a tough journalist, or is Fox News’ bias in favor of Mitt Romney showing?
Would Wallace ask Romney, "Are you a socialist?" in reference to Romneycare.
....Romney is well known to voters because of his 2008 presidential run. Given that he has a higher national name recognition among voters than do any of his announced opponents, it could be argued that if Romney were truly the people’s choice, he would be running away with the race. He isn’t.
And that makes Republican elites, the party faithful, very unhappy. It also seems to chap the backside of Fox News.

Fox......put Democratic strategist on the air this morning to assess the potential candidacy of Texas Governor Rick Perry. Basically, she said that she can’t believe we’re actually talking about the possibility of another “Texan” running. Amazing! Throw Rick Perry and the other 27 million of us who live in Texas under the bus.
Mention...Sarah Palin and Fox News gets mighty testy, despite the fact that Palin works for Fox News. Krauthammer has attacked Palin and Karl Rove is completely dismissive of the former Governor of Alaska.

I believe it is a test of how candidates do getting out the vote — money, muscle....
The fact that the candidates pick and choose (just like the msm and the party establishment do) makes a lot of these opening numbers very suspect.
Hell, everyone isn’t even in the race yet.
But we have 24/7 news cycles to fill.
And conservatives are chomping at the bit to make Obama a one term president.
While the Left will do ANYTHING to pick our weakest horse in the race.

I've been told on FR that Perry is [fill in the blank]'s stalking horse.
I'm sure he'll be recast daily until he enters the race. I understand from news reports that he is going to have some back surgery done. He's a runner and it was reported that over the years he's had surgery done to both knees.
We're going to see who can take all these groups and candidates on and go the distance.

Wallace is a punk. I quit watching Fox some time ago. I got tired of the liberals on there. I just go to the Internet for my new now without having to listen to the fool talking heads.
As a lifelong Iowan, I also wonder why anyone would let Iowa decide anything. The day of the stalwart, independent farmer has been gone for a half century, leaving the state a Section 8 residence for a variety of tax-sucking, special-interest parasites.
North of I-80 and west of I-35, you'll still find some trad Iowans, but they are an endangered species.

Sounds like Wallace is the flake in asking that question.
Lastly, given what I have seen from Krauthammer, if he can’t control his RINO/CINO tendencies, then he needs to be given the boot.
And why does Hannity have Rove on so often?
