I didn't say, imply, or even think that.

A warning not to do (or to not do) what, specifically? To leave the thread? To not answer a direct question from said site's owner? I'm not following, here.

It seems these days, that anything short of a Mary Poppins song is now considered hatred when it comes to Sarah Palin. I'm accused of hating her all the time, and I bear her no ill will whatsoever. I do however seriously question her abilities and qualifications, which almost invariably leads to the hate charge, or the derangement charge.

But you've gone on record as saying that you won't even vote in the general election if Sarah Palin is the nominee--which seems to indicate an intense dislike for her. Given all of what you perceive as her shortcomings, wouldn't she still be preferable Obama?

With your politics, being described as the Head Palin Hater must have been flattering.

Doesn’t look good for Bachmann when known trolls post vanities defending her.

No hatred from me. I will ask her to not hang her rope to Mitt Romney.

From all indications, Sarah Palin is hanging her rope to Texas Governor Rick Perry.

Palin plugs Perry: "I really like him" .... Unprompted, Sarah Palin brought up Rick Perry's name yesterday as a strong presidential candidate. "I think he would be a fine candidate.... we have a lot in common. I really like him.

Governor Sarah Palin's Endorsement of Governor Rick Perry

"That's why I am supporting Governor Rick Perry for re-election. He does what is right regardless of whether it is popular. He walks the walk of a true conservative. And he sticks to his guns – and you know how I feel about guns! " .... Sarah Palin, January, 2009

Sarah, unlike many who irrationally insist that she should have the GOP nomination seems to realize that 65% of all voter (for whatever reasons) have said that they would NOT vote for her.

Therefore, Sarah, unlike many who irrationally insist that she should have the GOP nomination seems to realize that such a GOP nominee would guarantee the reelection to Barack Hussein Obama. If so, Sarah Palin and I are in agreement.

I believe that Sarah will throw her full weight behind Governor Perry, the Governor of the second most populous state in the Union for almost 11 years who is, in her opinion, "a true conservative".

So far, the only hope I see on the horizon that will keep Romney or Obama out of the White House on Inauguration Day 2013 is Texas Governor Rick Perry.

From the recent comments that she has made and from her wise choice, up to this minute, to not seek the GOP nomination, it seems that Sarah Palin and I are in agreement.

Palin for SecDef? I don’t know.

Palin should be running the country, in my opinion, but I think the press has ruined it for her. I don’t know. It’s sad.

In my opinion, she does not have enough experience to be President (neither did Obama and neither do Bachmann or Cain), .... but, .... you know what?

You and I can argue about that until we are both blue in the face and it does not change the reality of what you wrote:

"I think the press has ruined it for her."

BINGO!

It boils down to exactly what you wrote.

For whatever reason, fair or unfair, justified or unjustified, (and it serves no purpose to argue about why) the majority of the American voters have turned against Sarah Palin, big time.

In a recent Gallup poll, 65% of all voters said that they would "definitely NOT" vote for her. And, yes, "definitely" was part of the poll question.

So, fairly or unfairly, her GOP nomination will guarantee the reelection of Obama.

I do not believe that Sarah Palin is "dumb". She is one smart cookie. She is smart enough to know that her well has been poisoned and she is wise enough to know that Obama needs to be defeated.

She is wise enough to know that her GOP nomination will increase her earning potential as a speaker after the general election but she is patriotic enough to NOT put money ahead of the danger to America that the reelection of Obama would bring about.

That is why I predict that Sarah Palin will throw her full support behind the Governor of Texas for almost 11 years, Rick Perry: In her words, "a true conservative".

Not being from Texas, I am not too familiar with Perry. Reading up on him, he has multiples flaws, as does any politician that has been in politics for more than a week.

Yet, compared to Romney, compared to two other forgettable candidates, compared to a Congresswoman in Congress since 2007 who would be considered totally inexperienced if she were a white male and compared to a former CEO of a pizza chain who would be considered totally inexperienced if he were a white male .....

..... so far ....

Governor Rick Perry, "a true conservative according to Sarah Palin", and Governor of the second most populous State in the Union for almost 11 years is the only chance to actually WIN and put somebody more conservative than Romney in the White House next Inauguration Day.

I truly believe that Sarah Palin understands that, will not enter the race and will endorse Governor Perry for Presient.

I like Bachmann. But in the last two weeks, she seems to be veering way to the left. She has been lining herself up with staunch anti-conservatives like Ed Rollins and Karl Rove. If she doesn’t do a lot to cut all ties with people like that soon, she’s selling herself as another Romney.

Once Jim replied to me in the manner that he did, I felt that I would be banned if I posted any more. It’s that simple.

I’ve had enough timeouts and warnings over the years to know when it’s time to step back.

If you want to continue to call me hypocrite, coward, quitter, troll, or hater, there’s not much I can do to convince you otherwise.

Hmmm, so you assessed the situation, realized you had no chance of winning your goal (of remaining a member of FR), and thus decided to become a "quitter", instead of standing up to your foe (JR, who can zot you because he holds that power over his forum), and going out in a blaze of glory, your reputation as a "fighter" intact, a martyr to your friends and supporters.

Well, that seems to sound like a real well thought out, fully justifiable, argument, based on your stated situation and goal.

In fact, your actions parallel the actions Gov. Palin took. She assessed the situation, realized she had no chance of winning her goal(s), and decided to become a "quitter" (in your descriptions of her). You regularly argued that she should have "stood her ground", "been made of sterner stuff", "had a thicker skin", etc.

All that "stand your ground", "sterner stuff" sure sounded good when repeated it over and over and over, didn't it? But then, here you are, when you had your chance to stand your ground, fight the good fight, (and possibly get banned from an Internet forum --- oooh, what a punishment), you broke, you ran, you really did quit.

LOL, maybe you should learn to fight like a girl, eh?

As rintense said:

“The problem here is the same hypocrisy there’s always been. If Sarah Palin had:
- hired Rollins

- been backed by Rove

- refused to attack Romney or Romneycare

- become the MSM darling

The PDSers here would be peeing their pants with glee, calling Palin a Romney-lovin RINO.

I can’t speak for other Palin supporters, but if Palin had all those things, I’d step WAY back and seriously reconsider supporting her- just as I am Bachmann.”

Sounds to me like a key reason why Palin supporters are cheesed at Bachmann is because Palin supported Bachmann (if I’m not mistaken) and look what that bum Rollins did. Michelle should have kept that guy on a tight leash.
