What's with the hatred of Michele Bachmann at Free Republic lately?
I've seen some psychotic paranoid drivel about her secretly working for Mitt Romney, but apparently there's more to it than that.

Perhaps if you could avoid the loaded rhetoric and ask about specific examples, you would find enlightenment...if that is, in fact, what you seek.

I'm not the head hater, or even a hater, but I'll answer. It seems these days, that anything short of a Mary Poppins song is now considered hatred when it comes to Sarah Palin. I'm accused of hating her all the time, and I bear her no ill will whatsoever. I do however seriously question her abilities and qualifications, which almost invariably leads to the hate charge, or the derangement charge.
I find a lot of things to admire about Sarah Palin. Her devotion to her downs syndrome child speaks volumes about her character. Her patriotism is more than evident and is not in question. Her faith is obviously genuine and not as dispensable as say Romney's.
It's not hatred to weigh a politician's educational background, and prior political success. It's not elitist to want the best and the brightest at the helm. I'm sorry, but if it were a Democrat that had a soft degree like a BA in communications that he got flitting from a host of little known universities and community colleges FReepers would be all over that background like white on rice.
If a Democrat candidate for president, counted amongst his political experience the position of mayor of an isolated berg so small that less than 1,100 were cast, FReepers would laugh themselves silly. And let's be honest with each other, FReepers would be brutal (and deservedly so) with a Democrat candidate who left after half a term as governor.
None of the above rise to the level of hate, or any emotion really. They're legitimate criticisms, and they aren't going away.

MB is going to split the vote in favor of Romney once Gov Palin enters the race.
MB running is only going to hurt the causes she says are important to her, such as unborn children and other Christian issues/family values.
Gov Palin who has much more support, shares these same concerns.
Some might say, hey MB has entered the race first, why not Gov Palin sit it out for the cause? Well that`s pretty ridiculous because Gov Palin towers over MB in prestige, gravitas, experience, class and popularity.
It would be like a social conservative challenging Reagan in his second term.
Personally for me, her poor judgment that says she is not presidential material, came from the idea that she could/should run even if Palin was running.
Add in other things she has said, and finally hiring Rollins to trash Gov Palin, was the last straw. But for me like I said, just the idea that she could/should challenge Gov Palin for the nomination shows that her judgment is way out of whack, I came to that conclusion even before Ed Rollins came along.
MB has shown me she is just in it for MB. No apologies from MB for Rollins attacking Gov Palin...I have zero respect for MB at the moment. If she was to ask forgiveness and endorse Gov Palin? That would go along way.
Surely she must know that LSM as well as LSM pollsters are pushing her, and also Rep establishment are thrilled that she is running.
Either she is not aware of this or does not care? Either way shows she is just not up to the task, at best she will only be a spoiler
Your opinion rises to the level of soft bigotry and hard elitism.
Some of you PalinBots better wash that foot, probably will taste better with mustard after Palin does not run and supports MB or Cain. But I expect like the purists you guys are , you will turn on her and call her a RINO coward, Romney sock puppet or some other invective for being scorned and gypped of your messiah.

Once Jim replied to me in the manner that he did, I felt that I would be banned if I posted any more. It’s that simple.
I’ve had enough timeouts and warnings over the years to know when it’s time to step back.
If you want to continue to call me hypocrite, coward, quitter, troll, or hater, there’s not much I can do to convince you otherwise.

I didn't call you any of those things, so you can't convince me to to do otherwise. I called you a "wimp" because after multiple contentious, and provocative, posts here and elsewhere on FR, you abandoned the thread you began. That's the definition that meets the description, but I probably can't convince you otherwise.
