This sounds like flash mobs organized through social media. There have been several incidents of businesses being swarmed like this with the targets being overwhelmed by these urban animals. The perps are long gone before police respond.

The young thieves were described as being between 14 and 20 years old, standing between 5 feet, 5 inches and 6 feet, 1 inches tall, and weighing between 140 and 180 pounds. They were last seen wearing baseball caps, shorts and T-shirts. Some of them had braided hair and others had short hair, the alert said. Something is missing from this description... I can't quite put my finger on it...

I've been reading a lot about these black on white attacks lately. Could this be the start of something? Curious to see if these racially motivated attacks spread to other cities.
Also how does one defend against a gang attack? Does not seem an easy thing to do since you get no/little warning of the impending attack. So far it seems to be a black thing, but if the idea catches on it might become popular with other minorities too. I guess the best defense is to stay out of cities, (always a good idea) be armed and hope you neighbor is armed too.

The police force has been demoralized during the Daley years. As long as the wilding was contained in their neighborhoods, no one cared. Now that it is spilling out to the Gold Coast and North Shore, everyone is paying attention.
