Where da lobsta?
2 lobsta a day sounds about right, with a side dish of ice cream - make that 2 scoop
Anything to waste time and money on!
Thanks to the voters who put obama in og=ffice, thereby giving the environmentalists an opportunity top implement and further their agenda, the United States of America is about to change the food pyramid. It will be replaced by the starvation pyramid.
The food pyramid “feeding” recommendations are the same that are used to fatten cattle before slaughter.
“It’s PEOPLE!”
Want to combat obesity?
Get kids away from the TV, off their computers, and off their asses. Make it a federal offense to use welfare money/food stamps for beer, soda, ice cream, cookies, etc. If you smoke, no free healthcare for you. If you are obese, no free healthcare for you.
Michelle Obama is an idiot. Health is a result of the choices we make, and it isn’t hard to maintain a healthy lifestyle if you have the willpower to do it.
The Orange food group should be the base!
I’m tired of having to explain to people that it includes Fritos, cookies, Ding Dongs, etc....
The shape of the pyramid resembles Michelle.
Michelle Obama is leading a "crusade"? Oh my. Next she'll be supporting the Patriot Act. ;-)
Because when I’m planning my menu, I feel that the best food choices can be made only after consulting a lawyer from Chicago.
Ditch the food pyramid? Good idea, long overdue.
Replace it with another politically-motivated “one size fits all” approach? Bad idea, no surprise at all.
The “food pyramid” was one of the biggest scams ever. It’s contributed more to diabetes, heart disease and stroke than smoking. “6-11 servings of rice, cereal, bread etc” is absolute lunacy.
The only reason the Federal Government has a say in any of this is because it is paying for some peoples healthcare.
The Federal Government should not be paying for anyone (other than the military’s) healthcare.
The reason healthcare is so expensive today is because of third party payers. There is a disconnect between the provider and the consumer.
Anything thought of as “free” gets used more than something you have to pay for. The provider has an incentive to charge more than a consumer would (or could pay) and the consumer does not care since they are not paying (directly).
Want to solve the health care problem, end all third party payers, only the consumer can pay.
Want to bring down the cost of college, end student loans, end government handouts, the consumer will have to pay their own way.
Any time you have a disconnect between the provider of service and the consumer of that service there an imbalance will occur.
Governments are seen to have unlimited amount of money and there is little incentive for the provider to keep cost low.
So we end up with a Rube Goldberg approach to medical care.
I will predict this entire house of cards will eventually collapse upon itself.
If you put a ‘boob’ belt on this and a couple of $1000 klodhoppers and drape it was a theatre curtain, it looks just like....err.....well, you know!
I want the damn Obamas to adhere to their new dietary guidelines, then. Fat ****ing chance of that! Probably no lobster or Wagyu burgers on it.
um.... Michelle you might want to put down the twinkie before you start telling us what to do!!!
