Is this buffoon still appearing in public? I would think that college students would laugh him off the stage; or are the minds of college students SO melted that they still accept the crap he pedals....

GLOBAL WARMING
Yes, it's true. Our local weather has been running feature stories on how global warming is killing people.
One thing I do agree with them on is that we are doomed.

Gore noted that "the scientists are now in a shift, theoretically saying that if asked, could these events could have occurred in the absence of a man-made global warning?; the answer is almost certainly no." Sigh. The answer is unequivocally yes. There is an argument put forth that the frequency of such events is increasing, but the evidence is scant, localized, and much more dependent on non-global-warming patterns (e.g. La Nina causing the floods and tornadoes).
In some ways it is good to have complete idiots like Gore and Gingrich leading that parade, because those sophomoric college students will realize the truth a bit sooner than if someone smarter were trying to feed them that line of bull.

When our nation was debating the wisdom of invading Iraq, public opinion polls showed, at the time the Senate took its vote, more than three-quarters of the American people genuinely believed that the person primarily responsible for the attacks of September 11th, 2001, was Sadam Hussein, the then ruler of Iraq. This is patent ahistorical bullshit. There was never a time when even a small minority of the American people thought that Saddam Hussein was primarily responsible for the 9/11 attacks. It was clear in the very early days that it was al Qaeda, based in Afghanistan, led by Osama bin Laden.
The Lefty revisionism is that Boooooooosh hoodwinked us into going into Iraq by lying about Hussein, and that we invaded because Booooooosh said that Hussein was responsible for 9/11. Bush never said it, and nobody ever thought that. It is staggering to me that, ten short years later, Algore thinks we are so ignorant of the events of those days that he is free to lie about it now.
We invaded Iraq because they were in breach of the cease fire that ended the first Gulf War and on the authority of 17 UN Security Council resolutions authorizing the use of force resulting from that breach. This was clear to everybody at the time. Algore is shamelessly lying about this now.

When a cartoon popular with the younger crowd lampoons you like this, you have zero credibility left, especially for things like graduations. I guarantee that more than a few kids were quietly saying, "Gwoan!" (the mythical call for the mythical man-bear-pig that Al Gore stalked in the cartoon. The 4th graders felt very sorry for the inept clown.)

Poor Al has to keep trying to sell it, because all of his credibility is invested in it.
When the Carbon Credits industry began shutting down, Al could have shown a bit of integrity by admitting his fool’s errand. But, apparently, many of them, including Al, want to go down with the sinking ship.
