Sigh. The answer is unequivocally yes. There is an argument put forth that the frequency of such events is increasing, but the evidence is scant, localized, and much more dependent on non-global-warming patterns (e.g. La Nina causing the floods and tornadoes).

In some ways it is good to have complete idiots like Gore and Gingrich leading that parade, because those sophomoric college students will realize the truth a bit sooner than if someone smarter were trying to feed them that line of bull.

it will be very interesting, when it becomes common knowledge how they have falsified records, lied, etc., to “hide the decline” in temperature.
plenty of reputable scientists have already said this is the most expensive hoax in human history...
