1 JUNEAU, Alaska – A former member of Sarah Palin's inner circle has written a scathing tell-all, saying Palin was ready to quit as governor months before she actually resigned and was eager to leave office when more lucrative opportunities came around.

2 "In 2009 I had the sense if she made it to the White House and I had stayed silent, I could never forgive myself," Frank Bailey told The Associated Press.

3 Palin's attorney did not respond to multiple requests for comment for this story. \

4 "Blind Allegiance to Sarah Palin: A Memoir of Our Tumultuous Years" is due out Tuesday and based on tens of thousands of emails that Bailey said he kept during his time with Palin. It began with working on her 2006 gubernatorial campaign and continued through her failed run for vice president;.......

The press.

You mean state-run media?

Only people incapable of thinking for themselves believes anything they say.

People are getting very desperate about getting to Palin.

This book is a “tell-all” that tells all of nothing. The book might as well contain all blank pages if the best they can do is incidents like that one in a hotel lobby.

Years ago I produced a 30 second commercial that was aired on “Good Morning America”. We shot for 3 days to edit down to 30 seconds.

I’m shocked I tell ya!

What are there as far as numbers here at FR. Say 300,000 people each week read here at FR, but how many are truly Conservatives with a truly Conservative perspective, and participate in the conversation(s)?

So if there are say 300,000 what percentage of the voting public is that?

My point is that those beyond the participation of the ongoing conversation here at FR aren’t informed as we at FR participating in the conversation are.

We have to allow for that in our judgement of who is going where. Who is going to win the prize?

These assaults on Sarah Palin are NOT intended to change the minds of those of us participating in the conversation, but are intended to influence those that don’t, and there are one “H” of a lot of those out there that only get that Leftist anti Palin conversation in which to participate.

Just sayin’ we have to remember what we are up against, and don’t lose sight of our goals. Comraderie can be like a couple of shots of Ol’ man booze, and give one a false sense of security.

Haven’t heard much from TEA Party recently. Hope we all can get ‘er fired up and going once again.

BUt we all know that Republicans are held to a completely different standard (you know - the double-standard game).

ANd notice I said I would not withhold my vote if she is the candidate. Just pointing out what WILL happen.

Who would waste time and money reading this tripe?

Rabid Sarah Palin haters. They drool for any information they can use to fuel their impotent rage.

What is truly sad is while the (d) has a majority raging against her, the (r) has the most vocal spewers of foam flecked invective against the Lady Palin.

And not a few of those poor deranged souls either post or have posted on FR.

I like Palin, and she would be so much better than what we have in office now (and similarly better than a Juan McLame presidency) - but I think she is better as a pundit/attack dog. I believe Bachmann is more “presidential”, and there are other candidates more “qualified”.

BTTT.

I did a spot commercial for a radio station. Only had one short line to say and it took over an hour of constant repeating to get the one sentence down.

What is it if you’re an inner member and you write about it...informer or misinformer?

Noted.

I also note that Republican candidates are either self-destructing (Gingrich) or just deciding not to run (Daniels, West, Trump, etc.) Sarah isn't in the race, but the media has so few real targets, that they are taking time from their busy schedule to trash a private citizen.

They fear her that much.

I particularly like the part where the author “returned to God” and his church. I do believe that the Bible frowns on gossiping.

The charge is that Palin is ambitious.

As is EVERYONE in Congress. You have to have ambition to even get there. It is when you couple ambition with greed, no ethics, no scruples, no moral values and then we have a problem. And, that what happens to most career politicians. Sarah answers to a higher power and her Boss is no one to toy with. IMHO.

Give me the private emails to a trusted aide from any Governor or Senator... Then we can all be on a level playing field. This is a joke.

BTW, every week there is a anti Obama book. Yet it is never promoted on the front page of Yahoo/AOL.

Wonder why /

People are getting very desperate about getting to Palin.

If Sarah Palin really was unelectable, state-run media would be begging the GOP to nominate her, just like they did with Mike Pence and Jon Huntsman.

Resigning as governor was a rational and sensable thing to do given the circumstances at the time.

Do you think liberals still believe that harassing her with false allegations forcing her to run up huge legal bills was a smart move.

Gods ways are not mans ways and God can turn the evil acts of men to serve his purpose.

You mean like MacArthur did when he came back to the Philippines?

Anyone who has seen or participated in any kind of video production will tell you that it is tedious and repetitive.

I am no fan of Sarah, but this stuff is just crap.
