AP Exclusive: Former Palin aide pens tell-all

1 JUNEAU, Alaska – A former member of Sarah Palin's inner circle has written a scathing tell-all, saying Palin was ready to quit as governor months before she actually resigned and was eager to leave office when more lucrative opportunities came around.

2 "In 2009 I had the sense if she made it to the White House and I had stayed silent, I could never forgive myself," Frank Bailey told The Associated Press.

3 Palin's attorney did not respond to multiple requests for comment for this story. \

4 "Blind Allegiance to Sarah Palin: A Memoir of Our Tumultuous Years" is due out Tuesday and based on tens of thousands of emails that Bailey said he kept during his time with Palin. It began with working on her 2006 gubernatorial campaign and continued through her failed run for vice president;.......

I counted...

13 paragraphs into this article before they get to the 'scathing' parts:

"Among the claims made in the book: that Palin's 2006 gubernatorial campaign coordinated with the Republican Governors Association, or RGA, in violation of campaign rules. The book describes cameras rolling as Palin strode through the door at an Anchorage hotel "over and over and over," for an RGA ad."

OHMIGOD NO~!!!!!!!!! Not STROLLING THROUGH A HOTEL OVER AND OVER~!!

I KNOW I COULD NOT SLEEP AT NIGHT EITHER IF I DID NOT COME FORWARD WITH THAT~!!!

Oh the Humanity~!

Sarah Palin would look like a stegosaurus if all the knives that were thrown in her back were showing. No wonder the US is crashing with all of the liberals and RINOs in the Republican Party.

The Alaska attorney general's office has said it's investigating Bailey's use of the emails. Executive ethics laws bar former public officials from using information acquired during their work for personal gain if the information hasn't been publicly disseminated.

Yeah, I kinda wondered about that. I guess it depends on the nature of the e-mails. If they were e-mails pertaining to official Alaska business, I think he's in trouble. If they were more along the lines of a campaign-based e-mail account, and thus not "official business," he's probably OK.

“The book describes cameras rolling as Palin strode through the door at an Anchorage hotel “over and over and over,” for an RGA ad.”

“W.H. to stop reenacting speeches for photos

The White House will end the practice of having presidents reenact speeches for news photographers, the Associated Press reports.”

The problem is.....?

It never stops. The lies, smears and deceit -— use Sarah Palin to try to make money. Truly beneath contempt.

Thankfully, Sarah Palin puts her trust in God.

I am still concerned that the big issue (that we know of so far) regarding Palin and a possible run for the White House that will come back to bite her (right or wrong) is her resigning from her office as Governor. Regardless of her reasons and if it was the right decision or not, it WILL come back to haunt her. It will be labeled as “when the going gets tough, Palin gives up”.

I like Palin, and she would be so much better than what we have in office now (and similarly better than a Juan McLame presidency) - but I think she is better as a pundit/attack dog. I believe Bachmann is more “presidential”, and there are other candidates more “qualified”.

I don’t think I would withhold my vote if Palin were the nominee (like I would if it were to be Juan McLame or Romney) - but still...

Well, if all he can accuse her of is personal ambition and a desire to use her (former) position(s) to gain personal wealth it’s rather a case of pot/kettle/black, no?

Thank GOD that Frank Bailey has stepped forward to tell all, to appease his conscience, and not for personal riches, I’m certain.....

I did commercials in my younger days for extra cash.

You do the scene over, and over again, no matter how good the first take is, mainly because the crew is being paid for the whole day, and you never know what can happen to the footage later, so you make a lot of it.

The press. It’ll all be fuel against Palin. So much for those claims she’s the only candidate to have been full vetted before.

The charge is that Palin is ambitious. That is like charging Ted Williams with wanting to be in the big leagues. When any politician realizes that he/she stands out in a crowd, usually they ask themselves: How far can I go?

What Leftie B____ wrote that?

Ahhh! Another AP Palin hater, should have known.

Dear Sweet Lovable Associated Press, This is not journalism but rather a hit piece on Sarah Palin. JUNEAU, Alaska – Sarah Palin is headed to India for one of the few overseas trips she’s taken since her vice presidential run in 2008. Palin is scheduled to deliver a keynote address, entitled “My Vision

That's the biggest reason why (not the only, by far) I will not support her in a primary. I'll vote for her in the general but not in the primary.

She's completely vulnerable to the arguement that she's an opportunist who saw big opportunities for personal enrichmnet and wasn't willing to finish her term in office before collecting. Plain and simple.

For a supposed knuckle-dragging, stupid, vacuum-headed
ditzy female (according to Progressives), Mrs. Palin sure gets alot of attention from the left and those who want to smooth their backsides.

IMHO

Did Obama finish his first term in the US Senate?
Did Hillary finish her second term in the US Senate?

We are surrounded by quitters, but I try to get over it.

I support Palin 100%.

Huh.

I recall a marvelous presentation from an RGA guy in 2010 on all the great ads they were doing for different candidates.

I think this guy either is cluelessly confusing rules wrt state level races and Federal, and/or is making a mountain out of a molehill.

The point isn’t that she had to do the same take over and over again. The point is that she was making a commercial for ther RGA which was illegal. I don’t know if that’s true or not but that’s the point Bailey was attempting to make.
