Did Obama finish his first term in the US Senate?
Did Hillary finish her second term in the US Senate?
We are surrounded by quitters, but I try to get over it.
I support Palin 100%.

BUt we all know that Republicans are held to a completely different standard (you know - the double-standard game).
ANd notice I said I would not withhold my vote if she is the candidate. Just pointing out what WILL happen.

Did Hillary finish her second term in the US Senate? That's not really an apples/apples analogy. It is generally understood that a senator will not finish his term if he's elected president (duh). Likewise, it is also acceptable for a senator to step down to take a cabinet position. Neither of these events occurred with Palin.

There is quite a difference between leaving an elected office because one was elected to a higher office or appointed tp a more important position in public service and quitting to write a book and get a TV show...but you already knew that, didn't you? Well, even if you didn't, the voters will.
