Evening Jinxy, Hugs.
Now I have to run.
Me too.
Just had to say hi.
See you tomorrow, maybe.
I did! I did! The only bread of my youth. We always got it from the day old store, and when they had tray sales, we would get the fun stuff: Ding Dongs, donuts, Twinkies, Snowballs, etc. d:o)
Music bumps for all the songs in the Canteen.
Rest, had a nerve block on Thursday C-4-7, bone on bone, still trying to get over the minor side effects. And doc’s orders are to rest for the next few days. Pain level is already dropping, for which I can truthfully say THANK YOU GOD.
Lumbar is next on the agenda as soon as he says I can have it.
We spent the weekend watching Nascar unset by Regan, the Grizzles take game 2, a unexpected upset at the KY Derby. And praying for all those 20K who are going to get displaced/ruined by the mighty Mississippi’s flooding this weekend. That is for Shelby Co...Memphis alone. We don’t even know if we will be able to get out come Monday...we live on a big hill, but a lot of the roads around us are being closed. We have a good stock of food on hand and a grill to cook on.
Did you get your shave yet Sandy?
;-)
Sorry honey, but this is not Foreigner.
That is Cutting Crew ; it was their biggest hit back in 1986.
Hugs
Es
Thanks! I didn’t think it sounded like them, but wasn’t sure.
BAD NEWS FOR OUR MILITARY:( this is the latest from the VFW. Defense Bill Includes TRICARE Increases: The House Armed Services Committee approved its version of the FY 2012 National Defense Authorization Act this week.
http://capwiz.com/vfw/issues/alert/?alertid=46437541
VFW Legislative Alert: Say No to TRICARE Fees.
This comes on top of a HUGE tax hike on Military pensions for 2011. If you hadn’t noticed your Military pension is several hundred $$ lighter for 2011, 0’s doing.
Thank for the heads up & I'll send an e-mail to my representatives.

Thanks for that post GailA. I got an email about this last week, but didn’t FW it in case it was a hoax.
Comes from reliable source FR retired Military spouse. We have been double teaming watching it. As both of us are spouses of ret. Military men.
GOP said all was on the line, but our Military OVER pays with lives, sub par pay, long tours, and low pay raises, long hours, NO COLA’s, MORE TAXES, less health care each year. While the avg sec in some rep’s office makes big $$ to answer the phone and isn’t risking their life every second on the battle or training fields.
Other areas in the Pentagon to cut, than the few benies our Troops get to make up for the sub par pay.
0 is trying to get rid of a lot of about 3,000 Troops. Saw that on the front of the Navy Times a couple of weeks ago. Mostly Mid Ranks. E-8-9’s.
Well, that sucks just like every other anti-American, anti-Miliatry thing this moronic administration has done to us!
I am soooooo ready for 2012!!!
And, people like me, who have benefited with the "Tri-Care-For-Life" program, will be left high and dry - and dead.
Oh, Yorkie!!! Please don’t talk like that. You are strong and
HAVE to live!
America can’t afford the fake president for another term. :(
(I promise!)
I am trusting, that those who believe in the Constitution - and all it stands for, - will prevail.
Whew! You had me worried for a bit!
We’ll take out the trash soon, I feel! :)
Just KEEP praying!
I’m sorry to read this. The Obama economy is affecting everyone.
My husband is retired from a PD and he has not received a cola for several years and his social security is a joke — $83 or $85.00; yet all around us prices for everything is going up and up.
It can seriously suck to be retired in a bad Obama Economy.
Anyway, all our votes count.
So, (in or out of the military) let’s remember this when we look at healthcare and our pocket books — VOTE.
BTTT
