President Obama, it turns out, is by far the most golf-mad of all the Presidents in history. Yesterday, the President was playing the 66th round of his presidency, and his fifth round in five weeks, as US special forces prepared to move in on bin Laden.
Theres nothing wrong in all that golf. The odd thing about being President is the amount of time you have on your hands, punctuated by sudden moments of extreme tension, requiring great decisiveness like the correct and admirable decision to attack bin Ladens bunker.
What is unfair not that this is Obamas fault is the criticism meted out to President George W Bush for his golfing. He only played 24 times in all eight years of his presidency, but was cast as the country club plutocrat for his love of the game. Michael Moore mocked him in his documentary, Fahrenheit 9/11, for condemning terrorist killers on the golf course in 2002, before adding, Thank you. Now watch this drive.
None of this is either to attack Obama or praise Bush just to say that its OK for presidents, both Republican and Democrat, to swing a club from time to time.

I would have been on my knees praying for my forces and their success and safety.
why did we respect his religious burial ceremony?
Why risk lives of seals when they were to shoot him in the head and not use a drone?
All that info he had on where the money goes, future attacks, where his number two is has gone.
If he had been there since 2005 then why not watch him and find the other leadership and then take them all out at the same time?
Obama you cannot take credit when you had all of this and if Bush had done it this way then the media would be asking for proof
Obama is a coward.
wow. just wow. someone should tell the msm that’s where he was...they are reporting that he was holding his breath in the situation room awaiting the outcome...I’m sure they will be embarrassed when they realize they got it wrong...oh wait...never mind...
I’m glad 0bama was playing golf (just like normal). I would not have wanted anything (like a change in activity) to give away the secrecy of the operation.
/sarc
Yes, I'm being sarcastic....but don't be surprised to hear this mentioned by MSM and admin sycophants.
I can not believe he went to play golf,,,,,
You are correct to say he should have been on his knees ...waiting for news of those troops safe return.
US MSM is the DNC.
It was all part of his intricate plan to lull Osama into a false sense of security.
to understand the difference... GWBush played 24 times in 8 years... or 6 in two years.
0bama has played 66 times in 2 years.
11 times more
any time lefties say anything, just tell them they are bullsh*t lairs and their only effort is to politicize any event while covering for their own
and remind them of president genius and how well he’s done
Did anyone in their right mind not realize that he was in constant contact with his aids?
you are right...wow...LOL
They will never correct themselves!
a good tee time is a terrible thing to waste
He was undercover.
I think W stopped playing golf altogether when military operations began in Iraq.
From HumanEvents.com, April 29, 2008:
"By all accounts, he [Obama friend and associate, Bill Ayers] was a ferocious, violent, revolutionary Marxist in his halcyon days as a Weatherman leader. He and his Weatherman bombers were enamored of Ho Chi Minh, Che Guevara, Fidel Castro, Mao Tse-tung -- indeed, all the murderous heroes on the Left. Referring to the Weatherman members in August 1969, he said (according to the FBI): 'Were revolutionary Communists.'
He got off on the groups multiple explosions, too, and discusses them rather lovingly in his memoir.
Ideal Bombing Weather:
'Everything was absolutely ideal on the day I bombed the Pentagon,' he writes (although he concedes it was really a group effort). 'The sky was blue. The birds were singing. And the bastards were finally going to get what was coming to them.' (p. 256 in the 2003 edition.)

It is very possible that DoD/CIA influenced the potus to make a very public spectacle (out playing golf) of himself while the operation was in progress. It is the opposite of what a normal POTUS would do, and it has the second advantage of getting him away from effective communications so that the operation can be completed without interference, unlike Carter and the Hostage Rescue attempt in '79
From David Horowitz's FrontPageMag.com/DiscoverTheNetworks.org:
March 6, 1970: "three members of the Weather Underground accidentally killed themselves in a Manhattan townhouse while attempting to build a powerful bomb they had intended to plant at a social dance in Fort Dix, New Jersey -- an event that was to be attended by U.S. Army soldiers. Hundreds of lives could have been lost had the plot been successfully executed."

"The bomb was intended to be planted at a non-commissioned officer's dance at Fort Dix, New Jersey.
The bomb was packed with nails to inflict maximum casualties upon detonation."

2007 Fort Dix attack plot
A group of six radical Islamist[1] men, allegedly plotting to stage an attack on the Fort Dix military base in New Jersey, United States, were arrested by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) on May 7, 2007. They were subsequently charged with planning an attack against U.S. soldiers. The alleged aim of the six men was said to be to "kill as many soldiers as possible".[2] Their trial began on October 20, 2008. [3]
Opening arguments were presented on October 20, 2008.
Assistant U.S. Attorney William Fitzpatrick said the defendants were inspired by jihad saying "Their motive was to defend Islam. Their inspiration was Al Qaeda and Osama bin Laden.
