(CNN) The White House released President Obama’s original birth certificate Wednesday.
The surprise release follows recent and sustained remarks by businessman Donald Trump, among others, that raised doubts as to whether the president was born in the United States.

Fortunately for thousands of Hawaii families with special needs children, Ivalee Sinclair’s thoughts of a medical career didn’t pan out.
She will receive a lifetime achievement award Thursday from Mental Health America of Hawaii for her tireless efforts over 40 years to ensure that children with learning disabilities receive the services they need.
The whole country of Kenya believes Obama was born there. With any luck, Kenya will dispute this and show their Obama birth certificate. ;-)
Good luck with that especially since the major precedent is totally against you. Nobody bothered to challenge Vice President or President Arthur on that basis even though it was widely reported that his father was Irish born. NOBODY, however, despite that well-known fact thought the question of his father's citizenship even worth asking about. for this this reason, either voters in 1880 were much dumber than voters today (IMHO the opposite is true) OR, more logically, they didn't think this issue had any bearing on Arthur's eligibility.

This document is stamped April 25, 2011. I wonder how it is that Ambercrombe (gov Hawaii) could not find this document, yet it materialized after Obama said 2 weeks ago serious issues on the budget could not be found on the news reportage. Now it materialized. Is Ambercrombe incompetent.

Arguing with birthers is just as futile as arguing with truthers. They will always believe that our otherwise blundering government has a master conspiracy which can refute any counterargument.
No where does Dr. West claim to have delivered the baby, just that the baby was born. Perfectly plausible that Dr West simply knew about the birth. I would say that Snopes made the illogical leap to conclude that Dr West was the attending obstetrician based simply on those statements made.
I haven't read any of his books, nor do I have any interest in doing so, but I think there may be some deception regarding the narrative about his mother and father- not to mention the idea that she was probably pregnant at 17. That is my guess as to what he was hiding all these years- something that embarrassed his mother, and he had lied about to supposedly protect her.
Could it be that she was the one "punished with a baby" at such a young age?
Also, I noticed that her age was not listed on the form released several years ago.

I thought birthers would keep their word. I’ve heard repeatedly that this will all end if he’d just release the birth certificate. Why don’t you just tell us where you’ll move the goal posts to now?
