(CNN) The White House released President Obama’s original birth certificate Wednesday.
The surprise release follows recent and sustained remarks by businessman Donald Trump, among others, that raised doubts as to whether the president was born in the United States.
I love Trump for today too. Just to see those stress fractures in Obama’s face as he stood at those mics without a teleprompter and smiled and joked but still looked scared and flustered and off-guard and like he was standing in front of a speeding locomotive. I think Trump and his renewed push to Out Obama as being an illegal president is causing him problems OVERSEAS... who could be “over Obama” in the pecking order where Obama would be acting afraid today? His international buddies getting an earfull of how he is a FAKE PRESIDENT? or... the Spooky Dude?
Cert # & name & signature of 1961 registrar aside, it is obvious the type is TOO THIN if it truly was typed by a 1961 typewriter
Who matched the “bamboo” background of the original document to the PDF’s background? And WHY??

It lists his legal name as “Barack Hussein Obama, II” and he took the oath as simply “Barack Hussein Obama.” I guess his dad is president. /s

Absolutely. More than ever now, we HAVE to pass a state law giving normal people standing to challenge eligibility in court. Without seeing the embedded transaction logs this piece of paper means nothing. It doesn’t even have a seal on it.
These people screw up everything they touch. Even the President can’t take a photocopy of it. But here it is. Half-certified, just for good measure. Has the signature but not the seal. One foot on one side and one on the other so they can claim it is certified and also that it’s not certified - since they said they won’t issue certified copies. I’m sure the copy machine uses paper with cross-hatches. This is so stupid it’s unbelievable. But they will expect this to make all the law-breaking, all the contradictory stories, all the forgeries to this point... just go away.
And to the media it will. But to thinking Americans this will only make the questions more pointed.
And all I can say of somebody who says they are too “amused” to take 2 minutes out of their busy golfing and vacation schedules in order to ease the conscience of every military person who swore an oath to protect the Constitution, rather than letting a decorated military surgeon go to jail and lose probably at least 3 million of personal income and benefits..... is..... ASSHOLE!!!
The official inked certification suffices. Without that certification, it would not be an official copy.

Because the father's signature is not part of the official document. Father's signature is not on my 1966 Mississippi long form. Mine has mother, attendant, and registrar signature blocks.
The supposed history is they were married before he was born.
So if he requested “CERTIFIED” copies, why in the hell is there NO official HDOH RAISED seal on that document?

What about cases like Obama's where the mother is still there and her new husband adopts him. This isn't the same case as the mother dropping off the kid at an orphanage. (I know my brother got new birth certificates for kids he and his wife adopted, but I don't know about his wife's kid from before their marriage).
We adopted our grandson, and I am now listed as his birth mother, my husband is his father, same date, same hospital same everything else. The old BC is now destroyed.
How about microfilm copies? Do they remove or at least mark out the original?

I just opened the PDF file and holy cr@p I think you are right.
That white ghosting is around all the letters.
Look at a letter “O” or “C” and you can’t see the security paper.
This looks like chunks of text pasted on the security paper. The text chunks cover the security paper.
Let me get this straight. Zero had his LFBC all the time and could have shown it whenever he wanted. Instead he CHOSE to allow all the time, effort and money to be spent by all of the people who worked on both sides, and in the courts on all the court cases and appeals and everything else related to this matter to go on and on for the last 2 years. He allowed a distinguished military surgeon, and active soldier, to go to jail when all he had to do was present his LFBC. What responsible person, executive, leader would do this? Answer: Noone but the narcissistic POS we have who occasionally spends time in the White House!
