A three-inch lizard that thrives in desert conditions could shut down oil and gas operations in portions of Southeast New Mexico and in West Texas, including the state's top two oil producing counties.

Kind of like our Silvery Minnow issues. I offer the same solution I did for the minnow. Let Walmart sell them. Once Walmart is involved they will bread the lizard in enough quantity that you don’t need to worry about this little patch of earth were we need to drill for oil.
Hey, lizards are people too!!!/S
Ping.
I have long been convinced that the silvery minnow has survival mechanisms unrecognized by the so-called biologists who fight for listing of them under the ESA. I have personally observed them in surface water springs emanating from shallow groundwater several miles from the nearest stream. The surfacing groundwater is not present all the time but the next time it is, they are back. The location will remain a secret with me lest the enviros decide to “protect” them to the detriment of nearby taxpaying interests.
Breaded Silvery Minnows? Sounds delicious.
Time for another Klamath Falls.
Lol! Thanks for catching that typo. Maybe it was a Freudian slip.
I agree. That damn minnow is far more resilient than the enviros give it credit for.
