Private equity maven Lynn Tilton warned NYMag that if the U.S. doesn't create more jobs, there will be violent upheaval.
The truth is, I believe that there will very well be violence in the streets in America."
Its my great fear. And I think the only thing we can do to stop it is by creating employment. Social unrest comes from people who cant take care of themselves. If we become a populace of the permanently unemployed, and Wall Street keeps going up, and multinational corporations keep making money, but Americans are unable to work and take care of their families, there is going to be social unrest.
I believe I have been chosen for this moment, where I can make a difference.
Tilton has already laid out an extensive plan for how she would create jobs and fix the economy. But "not once" has President Obama asked to hear her thoughts, she told the magazine, which recently profiled her.
The President is listening however. Tilton belives Obama lifted excerpts from her articles.
I mean actually lifting pieces."
Literally, I can give you paragraphs. I got like twenty e-mails after his speech, when he was like, We need to be innovators and the makers of things.
One woman who has seen her talk offers a catty explanation:
"You know, nobody likes seeing too much boob.

There won’t be violence over lack of jobs,
but when the welfare checks stop,
THEN there will be violence.
However if we were playing the game, “Starlet or Streetwalker” I would have probably answered, “All of the above.”
well, duh, why d you think they are creating high unemployment numbers to begin with.
well, duh, why do you think they are creating high unemployment numbers to begin with.
The left has killed the golden goose that produces the eggs.
We live in interesting times.
LOL...
She’s a perfect example of the stupid and unserious freaks who have risen to the top in America. No class and no brains is appears to be the number one qualifications to run something big or be a major star in the US. I feel like we are watching a train wreck.
Would have still won the Belmont by at least 25 lengths.
No matter where you look, everybody’s got a gimmick.
I’m watching a local show the other day and they have a segment about some dame who writes a book “The Crabby Cook”, or somesuch.
She comes on, isn’t much to look at, I watch about 3 minutes and her recipes are nothing amazing...
So she’s some gal who has a couple dozen recipes and a cutesy title. Even if her recipes were good, I was disgusted by the sham. Plastic everywhere... the number one occupation in this country seems to be conning some poor sucker.
Look at Sheen and all his antics!
Aside from all the boob talk on the thread, there is going to a meltdown in the welfare/union/government worker classes when the spigot finally runs dry.
Can you imagine an entire class of people who have never had to provide for themselves being told, sorry, there’s no more money?

Reminds me of an old Playboy cartoon from about 45 years ago.
Two cops are beating up a fiddle player. A passerby says to his girlfriend....”How else can we stop violins in the streets?”
Fakiness and incompetence is the cat’s pajamas in modern America. We are a freak show in every arena.
“Prayers for the Assassin”. Good book. Worth a read. We’ll all be Muslims in about 5 years.
Good grief. Whoever designed that dress should be horsewhipped.
Maybe I should get more ammo before getting more food.
Hilarious, here’s a lady that has apparently never been outside of her gated community.
Hey chickiepoo, there is already violence in the streets, quite a bit of it actually. And for many of the reasons you note.
But I guess when it is drug thugs killing over turf and honor, she does not recognize it for what it is.
Good grief. Whoever designed that dress should be horsewhipped.

I’m thinking the issue precedes the dress design.
You been pinged here yet?
9) Befriend a Korean from LA who owns a rifle or shotgun and give him a ladder to climb up to the roof.
