It's official: Donald Trump is a "birther." But he'd prefer you don't use that term.
Speaking to MSNBC Thursday, the business mogul and improbable presidential candidate reiterated much of what he has said in the last several days when it comes to doubting President Obama's birthplace, declaring, "I am embracing the issue, and I'm proud of the issue. I think somebody has to embrace it."

Recently there was a blurb someplace that the GOP establishment has chosen someone to run for president and were already raising money for him, and that he was someone who would be able to stop Sarah Palin.
I understand your uneasiness, but there are a few things about this that might help to alleviate that feeling.
1) Trump is a billionaire with an ego ten miles high. He's not going to be the GOP's boy, or the Dem's stalking horse. There isn't anything either side could offer him that can top the prizes he's already won by his own hand, and he's too savvy to put himself in a position to be beholden to anyone.
2) The GOP would not need to raise money for Trump. He can probably easily afford to self-finance a primary bid.
3) Trump may have extremely high name recognition, but when the rubber meets the road, most voters are not going to trust him to be their president. His positioning and branding with the public is completely wrong to have any hope of winning the nomination.
4) Trump started making statements to the press that he was very worried about the direction of the country over a year ago. He has seen Obama and the current cabal of Democrats for the con men and criminal incompetents they are, and wants to see them kicked to the curb. I honestly believe that he's stepped up to the plate because he's honestly convinced that he's big enough and tough enough to knock them down a notch or two.
5) The theory that he may be using the bc controversy to pave the way for a Hillary run, is compelling, but you have to ask yourself, what's in it for him? After watching Obama et al, do you really think that Trump believes she'll be any better? He's no fool, and knows that she's almost as big a Marxist as Obama is.
Frankly, I believe that Trump is serious about his run for the White House, and it's apparent to me, that he's attacking Obama early, at one of his weakest points. He may not be finished, either. Something tells me that Trump has a lot more up his sleeve, than what he's put on the table, so far.
Now Muammar Gaddafi is asking the western leaders to step down and resign ( namely : he is asking Obama to step down and resign )... ohh this is getting very interesting..
I called it some time ago, Obama would find a war. Well lookie over here at Libya. Yea, the whole go to war thing backfired on OholyO. but what can you expect from an illegitimate pansy eh?
We can't give up or let up. I don't know if you post on other sites, but it's time to be taking the public argument public on any and all internet posting boards and newspapers you can.
We all should be doing this who understand the nature of the threat Obama poses, and who understand what a Natural Born Citizen is, and can explain it to others cogently.

Was McCain not born on a U.S. military base? It is my understanding that anyone born on a military base is considered born on US soil.

I missed that - so Rove roller over and played dead? Since he’s left the White House I have so lost any respect for the man. I used to think he was a pretty intelligent but if he doesn’t realize there’s something up not only with the birth certificate he’s got rose colored glasses on.
This could be a rope a dope between Trump and the Republicans....
The Birth Certificate needed to be brought up but the Dem have made it a kook test to politically kill with...
So enter Trump...he has the hi profile to take it mainstream but being independent....the party has the ability to stay clear of Dem smears...

I’ve also wondered if some of this isn’t payback of a sort. Trump does love this country and the success living in this country made possible for him.
He’s had to be hurt big time by the crap that’s gone on, UNCHECKED by the POS POTUS we have now ~ so maybe he’s just getting a little revenge?
No matter even if he’s working for Billary I say go for it The Donald, go for it! Maybe he can do what others can’t or won’t and get some documents on this guy’s life opened up.
