KARL ROVE: Donald Trump Is Discrediting The Entire Republican Party
Business Insider ^ | March 31, 2011 | Steven Loeb

Posted on 03/31/2011 9:06:56 AM PDT by maggief

EXCERPT

"The right wing base of the Republican party, I'm part of that right wing base, is not in love with the issue of birthers. I mean, there is an element inside the Republican party, and outside the Republican party, that's fallen in love with this but the majority of Republicans and the vast majority of Americans accept is he a U.S. citizen capable of being president."

(snip)

"You know, the troubling thing in the interview tonight was he said as time has gone on here, over the last couple of weeks, he has become more interested and more believing in the issue. You know, when he first brought it up, he said 'of course I accept that he's a citizen. He ought to just release the, release his birth certificate.' Different tone tonight. This is a mistake. It will marginalize him and he's falling into Barack Obama's trap. Barack Obama wants Republicans to fall into this trap because he knows it discredits us with the vast majority of the American people when they do."

Rove is a birther - he gave birth to Obama’s Presidency!

Brilliant, you nailed it. It is directly because of Rove's sissy, weak willed new tone that we have Obama. Rove is truly a girly man with 0.000000000000001% Warrior genes.

I saw Christine O'Donnell and Donald Trump practicing witchcraft! I did I tell you! Unhand me fools. Don't you know who I am? I pick the GOP nominee, not the people.

"...a U.S. citizen capable of being president."

U.S. citizen? Probably. A natural born U.S. citizen? Unlikely. Capable of being president? Never.

Tokyo Rove is begging for attention. Trump is the only Republican so far who has the guts to raise the issues the Democrats don’t want to talk about.

Was Donald Trump toying with the idea of a presidential run as far back as 2009?

That’s when New York City Board of Elections filings show The Donald switched his party affiliation from Democrat to Republican.

Karl, the GOP has been discrediting itself way before Donald Trump.

Someone send this guy the memo.

“KARL ROVE: Donald Trump Is Discrediting The Entire Republican Party”

It’s difficult to think of anyone who has discredited the Republican party more than Fat Boy and his old boss, Jorge Arbusto.

“the majority of Republicans and the vast majority of Americans accept is he a U.S. citizen capable of being president”

The majority of Republicans and the vast majority of Americans wonder how you can prove someone is a natural born citizen without offering any documentation. In our area, parents have to provide birth certificates for their kids who want to play T-ball. But you can’t require this of someone who is running for the highest office in the land?

Hey, Karl: do us a favor. Shut up, and go hide yourself in an all-you-can-eat-buffet line somewhere.

Actually like all that happens in government, this whole thing is a Karl Rove plot.

And it wouldn’t be a Karl Rove plot if Karl wasn’t distancing himself from it.

"Rove is the architect of the collapse of the Republican party between 2003 and 2009

Big Bump, he is a paid spokenman of the ruling class, be they D's or R's. He is not a friend of the American middle class and he does not speak for American conservatives. Maybe the neocons, but not conservatives that is for sure.

You know, if Trump was not...

... then Turd Blossom and the ass-clowns with the media would not be doing all this howling. At least the White House has withheld comment.

For now.

Good. The GOP needs a good old fashioned Discrediting.

They are looking like Democrat-Lite right now and I'm about fed up. I worked hard to get Tea Party candidates elected in 2010 and the results that we were promised don't seem to be showing up. Unless things change, I'm going to give my $2012CampaignBucks to the Birthers and let the GOP sink or swim.

Obama is ineligible because his father was not an American citizen at the time of birth. He was a Kenyan National. He was never an American citizen.

Seeing his BC could prove that Obama also was not born on US soil, but Obama is already ineligible.

Trump is saying whatever is on his mind he wants to say...I still say he’s put the possibility of his running out there just to get the media stage to be heard....and it’s working...frankly I’m enjoying the show.

".....but the majority of Republicans and the vast majority of Americans accept he is a U.S. citizen capable of being president."

Mr. Rove, just because as you say most Americans "accept" does not make it so that he is a NATURAL BORN CITIZEN and capable of doing the job.
