In conservative James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas’s third major National Public Radio (NPR) sting tape release, Betsy Liley, the taxpayer-funded radio network’s director of institutional giving is heard saying controversial left-wing billionaire George Soros has donated to the organization before last October’s $1.8 million gift. Liley is currently on administrative leave, but her bosses, Ron Schiller, the president of NPR’s nonprofit foundation, and NPR CEO Vivian Schiller (no relation) were both fired.
Liley brought up Soros and his nonprofit organization, the Open Society Institute, while discussing what kind of on-air publicity the Muslim Education Action Center (MEAC) Trust would want in exchange for its donation. Liley mentioned that Soros and his organization decided they didn’t want on-air publicity for their donation to avoid conservatives’ scrutiny.
“George Soros and the Open Society Institute gave us $1.8 million, and they have decided not to use on-air credits because of what’s happening in Congress,” Liley said. When the man she thought represented the fictitious Muslim Brotherhood front group asked her how Soros’s donation and “what’s happening in Congress,” relate, Liley said conservatives tried to link Soros’s donation to Williams’s firing.
“I think the first gift was within the first year he set up the Foundation, which was 10 or 15 years ago,” Liley said. “But, it was a different political situation and current events were a little different, and so, it went through – I was not here, but I think it went – there wasn’t a press hullabaloo. I mean, the Open Society Institute was getting – you know, the conservatives on some of the websites, were having people call his foundation. The press was calling and so, it became, kind of – you know they got roped into the Juan Williams thing, which they didn’t feel like they needed to be.”

You can buy press that makes leftards think of your company as as liberal cause celebre.
You can buy press than demonizes your competition.
You can buy any press at all.
It’s striking how the NPR leftists immediately embraced the “Muslim Brotherhood” representative as a friend and ally against their mutual enemy - American conservatives.
This growing alliance probably explains the recent wave of pro-Muslim agitprop in the DNC Media.

Soros has said that he doesn’t want the US to win the “war on terror” because then America would be strong, and he now views America and capitalism as the chief evils in the world.
IOW, Soros has allied himself with the Islamists. With the communists and Islamists united to defeat America’s freedoms and capitalism, whatever media Soros owns will be pro-Muslim and anti-capitalism. With the communists and Islamists in league with each other, they control enough of the world’s money to hold the rest of us hostage, which is what I believe has happened.
I believe the bank run in Sept of 2008, which got Obama elected, was an event planned by Soros and his communist-sympathizing DNC stooges in Congress (Soros has said he has bought and paid for the DNC; it is his to use as he desires) and ultimately able to make Soros’ standard economic terrorism (done in Russia, France, China, etc and now Greece...) big enough to attack the entire world economy because it was combined with money from his new allies, the Islamists.
The banks that were bailed out in TARP were major contributors to both ACORN and the DNC and were sharia-compliant. As I understand it, one of them, Bank of America, has been protected (from legal investigation or Wikileaks exposure) by Eric Holder, the guy who is supposed to be investigating crimes and corruption. Instead he is protecting BOA, which was bailed out big-time.

It stands to reason that when Soros buys so many tools, some of them won’t be the sharpest ones in the box

Agreed. We are under attack on a number of fronts: political, social, economic, legal and military.
O’Keefe makes me uncomfortable...The ACORN sting was genius, the fake telephone scandal was significantly less so. The NPR context editing was distressing.
While I admire his tenacity and moxie, his methods are shady enough that people “on the fence” will see it for what it is and be turned off by it.
Going forward, if he can get the damning footage without baiting or through creative edits of the raw footage, more power to him.
I really don’t get Soros. He donated massively to causes to help rid Eastern Europe of communism, something that would make him a hero to us. Then he turns around and attacks his ally in the fight against communism, basically heading us back to what he just finished fighting against.
