Sarah Palin is making her priorities clear celebrity feuds trump visiting early states and building an organization.
Much was made of Palins hire of Mike Glassner as her chief of staff, but since then her operation has not begun to look any more like a campaign in waiting. Continue Reading
She has yet to hire additional staff to make a political play. And the contrasting 2012 storylines today serve as good a reminder as any recently of just how far Palin is from running for president.
In Iowa, five presidential candidates of various stature are participating in one of the first cattle calls at the Faith and Freedom Coalition forum.
And whats Palin doing?
Shes in a celeb-feud with Kathy Griffin, who is pretty transparently using the conflict to promote her coming Broadway performance.

Didn't folks here bitch and moan that President Bush was damaged because he didn't speak out against those who continually misrepresented his positions on issues? He didn't think he SHOULD fight back, because he thought that might diminish the Office of the President.
Sarah, on the other hand, is a private citizen, though a former officeholder. She has every right, and I would say a responsibility to correct any misconceptions about her positions that present themselves in the media. And I certainly want Sarah to fight back against aging, nasty hags who would attack her children!

He felt betrayed...and he was.

The sad thing is that it was common knowledge here at FR that the Chris Mathews’ of the world were playing McCain for a sucker for years. Blinded by the spotlight I guess. He would have been a terrible President.
Are you going to retract that ridiculous charge when Palin announces her bid for the White House? I highly doubt it.
Oh, and welcome to Free Republic.
So, Pissy, did you register Democrat yet?
It’s clear that you sold your soul to the leftists. Hope the price was worth it.

I know, I know. If you think Palin is McCain in a skirt, then you must be a leftwinger. Palin is too damn LIBERAL, not conservative.
Funny, the Fredheads said the same thing. Only then, as now, I support those far more conservative than either Fred or your Precious amnesty queen.
At least the Mittbots aren’t self-deluded enough to think if someone does not like flipper, and supports more conservative candidates, they must be leftists.
You guys are confused as hell.
“Are you going to retract that ridiculous charge when Palin announces her bid for the White House? I highly doubt it.
“Over the weekend Governor Palin had three interviews, totalling 29 minutes of substance, covering every issue currently in the national debate. Yet, apparently no one in the mainstream or conservative media found anything other than three 30 second soundbites that were completely irrelevant to the substance of the interviews, to report on.”
“The same thing happened with her Long Island Association Q&A. The Governor took questions on every issue from a pro-abortion, pro-gun control Democrat for over an hour before an audience of socially liberal Democrats and Republicans in an area where the Democrat Party is strong, yet no one found anything to report on other than some made up controversy about breast milk.”
“If Im wrong, can someone explain it to me why we see very little coverage of any substantive comments Governor Palin makes, but almost daily coverage of how some dumb liberal attacked her?”

What do you have against Sarah Palin? Just curious, seeing as how you “don’t want to give her any more publicity.”
“Memo to you: You dont write on Facebook or Twitter all day about everything that happens, if you want to get elected.”
_____________
And a memo to you:
Gov. Palin posted five times on Facebook during the entire month of February and Tweeted twelve times. How is that anywhere remotely like “writing on Facebook or Twitter all day about everything that happens”?
Veracity isn’t your strong suit, is it?

Oh sure, you play the game to the hilt. You do a pretty good imitation of a conservative for a leftist sock puppet. But then, choosing a candidate like Duncan Hunter, who never had a snowball’s chance in hell, was an easy way to gin up some phony conservative cred without any danger of him actually winning a GOP primary and catching fire.
You spend almost all your time on FR attacking conservatives. And you almost exclusively post articles from leftist publications and websites to do it. You’re a leftist mole. The only thing worst than being a communist is being a useful idiot. The only thing worse than being a leftist is to do their work for them.

Like the old saying goes, The loveliest trick of the devil is to persuade you that he does not exist.

Andy Barr again? Hes the anti-Palin writer on there.
Pissant again? He’s the anti-Palin writer on here.
Saaay, you don’t suppose...
She ain't a conservative. DeMint is. Bachmann is. Inhofe is. Cain is. Hunter is. Sessions is. Hensarling is. King is. Tancredo is.
She's John McCain in a skirt. She's no better than the RINOS you denigrate here on FR. And you are the perhaps the biggest cultist on this site. Anyone else come out with a commision to figure out how to get their state into a carbon trading scheme wound NEVER be forgiven. Yet you pretend - because she had some sharp words for the scientists who finally got nailed in ClimateGate - that she's Jim Inhofe. BS. She's Newt Gingrich. You pretend because she vocally supported Jan Brewer and SB1070, that that negates every other idiotic statement she has made supporting amnesty. Guess what toots, John McCain ALSO supports SB1070. It has NOTHING to do with amnesty. You pretend that its the epitome of conservatism for your candidate to be a self-proclaimed "federalist" - let the states decide - when it comes to abortion. Yet this piece of work is in full throated support for the vile feminist claptrap, nanny state , federally MANDATED Title IX. You pretend that her ignrorant support of LOST - in DIRECT OPPOSITION to what conservatives where attempting to kill (and mercifully succeeded) is no big deal. Neither you nor she would know what conservatism or constitutionalism or sovereignty was if it bit you in the ass.
These early contests are still nine months away and few of the contenders might overstay their welcome. It's too early to draw conclusions.
