Larry O'Donnell has named Tim Pawlenty as the only "plausible" Republican candidate for president in 2012. Take it for what it's worth. And consider that O'Donnell was almost surely seeking to sow dissension in Republican ranks.
Caveats carefully in place, consider the reasons O'Donnell dinged all the other possible nominees.

Crazy Larry O’Donnell deems Pawlenty only plausible Republican ‘12 nominee. Ping to Today show list.
Tim Pawlenty is OK. I could support him. I hope that he chooses a running mate who excites conservatives.
Hey, Larry O’Donnell is certainly *my* favorite “go-to” source for informed conservative opinion!
Kiss -o- death for the RINO pawlenty.
He's likable, doesn't seem to have baggage, lefty attacks on him don't stick, and he would beat the S%#t out of Obama in a debate.
Larry O’Donnell makes my skin crawl. He is so creepy. A true real loser.
PS: Larry is a mindless ideologue IMHO
Pawlenty is too boring.
Lawrence O’Donnell so has our best interests at heart and insists that we nominate the candidate that would have the very best opportunity to topple Obama.
“Pawlenty is too boring.”
So was Calvin Coolidge. But he was one heck of a President. Those were prosperous times.
Which me reminds me of my favorite Coolidge anecdote. While at a White House party, a rich socialite was sitting next to President Coolidge, who was known for saying as few words as possible (His nickname was “Silent Cal”).
The socialite said to Coolidge, “Mr. President, I’ve made a bet against a fellow who said it was impossible to get more than two words out of you.”
To which Coolidge replied, “You lose”.
You know the world is doomed when you find Mad Larry is even more insane than Keith Olberman.
Come on you CLOWNS! Did you see his speech on CSPAN today? 2 opening jokes-both fell like lead balloons! On paper he may be better than ok but gimme a break! Obama has to REALLY fall for him to win assuming he gets nominated.
Oh dear no, as exciteable as a white bread and mayonaise sandwich.
*Pawlenty is too boring.
So was Calvin Coolidge.*
I love that anecdote, but Coolidge could afford to be boring—they didn’t have HDTV back then.
Wouldn’t it be great if Gen. Patraeus retired and ran for the Presidency?
