O.J. Simpson's been an afterthought since he went to prison, but a report today that he was brutally beaten by skinheads in his prison cell has him back in the media spotlight.
The National Enquirer, which gained noticeable sports cred when they broke the Tiger Woods scandal, reports that Simpson was "beaten unconscious in a brutal prison yard attack" and is now so messed-up mentally that he can't leave his cell.
"Unfortunately for O.J., a group of young skinhead punks were within earshot - and they were enraged," Bruce Fromong, a former business partner of Simpson's told the Enquirer.
The Enquirer's report indicates that Simpson decided to "brag about his sexual conquests of beautiful white women" and that didn't sit to well with a group of "white supremacists."
Simpson, now 63-years-old is apparently "afraid to venture out of his cell" following the reported attack.
Unfortunately, Simpson is probably a long shot to garner much sympathy for his situation, which says a lot about what he did to end up in the Nevada Correctional Center.

He’s in prison for being OJ Simpson. If true, there will be much hilarity about this story. But it would be just more proof that “justice” in the USSA is a joke.
Funny how the skinheads are regarded as punks in the article. Probably in prison for drugs. But Simpson who committed grotesque acts of violence gets a pass.

This beatdown has been a long time coming, but better late than never!!
Is this writer a moron or what?!?!? What Simpson did to end up in jail has NOTHING to do with him not getting sypathy. It's what he did that SHOULD HAVE caused him to end up in jail (but didn't) that will cause the lack of sympathy. Freakin' idiot.
No one should be beaten in prison no matter what they did. OJ should have been held to account for his crimes in the prior trial. But he wasn’t so a lot of people feel that justice was cheated and thus, things like this are justified. They aren’t. They don’t serve justice.
The guy stabbed his wife to death, walked out of court, and then flaunted it, trying to write a “theoretical” book of how he would have killed his wife. If all he got was a beating, he deserved it.
CBS should know better than to report on a story from the Enquirer without independently verifying it.
