Mubarak Speaks
When I was an 18 year old kid I joined the Army Infantry. Because I had confidence in the leadership of HW Bush. Today, if my boys were a little older I would advise them away from the armed forces. At best maybe the Air Force as an electronics guy just to pay for college. I certainly would advise against combat arms and the officer corp.
That because I have no confidence in the current National leadership.
yea the worst for obama and the far left which have been behind this pissing on allies for two years
I CANNOT wait to hear Rush tomorrow!!
Sure he wasn't talking about Obama?????????????
Sure he wasn't talking about Obama?????????????
I have to think that the professional State Department is reporting straight information, so far as they can ascertain it. (The internal dynamics of the Egyptian government may not be accessible to them at the moment.)
I suspect that the political State Department (to some extent) and Obama's foreign policy team to a much greater extent, are operating based more on ideology than information or sound judgment.
My sense of Obama's strategy is that he's trying to publicly embarrass Mubarak into doing "the right thing," as Obama sees it.
There's no telling what, if anything, Margaret Scobey, Obama's ambassador to Egypt, has been saying in private. She's career foreign service with a lot of Middle East experience.
My guess is that Obama has been running open loop on his public comments, not coordinating them with State at all.
A lot of us would like to give the finger to great leader Obambi.
“Unlike Fox reporter Greg Palkot and cameraman Olaf Wiig who were nearly *killed*
Which totally blows Obama and the MSM’s claims about these protests being “peaceful,” and “for freedom and democracy” out of the water.
I am so glad that President Mubarak is staying. IN YOUR FACE, OBAMA!
“My guess is that Obama has been running open loop on his public comments, not coordinating them with State at all.”
That’s kind of what I’m thinking. Sometimes you have to know when to ask for help. He doesn’t seem to know.
We flip him the bird every time we advocate for common sense.
I watched Cooper's show the night of the incident just to see what he looked like after the "beating." Not a scratch, not a bruise, not a scrape on him. But "Anderson Cooper beaten severely by Mubarak thugs" got major headlines nevertheless.
Fox news' Greg Palkot and Oleg Wiig also had a run-in with some Islamofascists, but their incident barely made the news at all despite the fact that they were almost beaten to death. ...as one look at them showed.
"The time for honoring yourself will soon be at an end."
Wow - CNN now - conflicting reports on who is in charge - lol
“How pathetic is it to have such a weak President like Obozo. Even dictators who depend on our foreign welfare have no qualms taking potshots at him with no fear of reprisal.”
“It is better to be feared than loved, if you cannot be both”- Niccolo Machiavelli
Egyptian Amb - says Mubarak has no power and that CNN is wrong in their reporting. Wolfe pushing him now
LOL Egyptian Amb says he hasn’t told the U.S. this information - but he is telling Wolf first - okaayyyyyy
He's a narcissist -- he thinks it is sufficient for him to say something, and all will be well.
We've all been expecting and seeing this behavior ever since he was elected. It's just that, this time, the disconnect between Obama's words and reality, is quite a bit more obvious. He's been ten steps behind, the whole time.
This is bad.... I have to wonder what sorts of grumblings are going on in DC offices and hallways.
