LOL! That is amazing! We are the coldest place for once. I’m
not sure I like that distinction, but there it is! :)
BRRRR!
((HUGS))Good morning, LUV W. How’s it going?
Good to see you, too, Conor! Hope you are having a good day so far!
32* in Phoenix, huh? Came in to work at 0700 and the thermometer in the truck read 24*; and we’re headed for a low of 17* overnight.
I thought we lived in the desert...!
Arrgghh!! We get to do that next week. Up until a few months ago, I was in charge of scheduling/monitoring that training for our company. What a pain...
It got up to 70 degrees F yesterday and it’s supposed to get up to 65-70 today, too. Can’t complain at all.
Hi! It’s going well as long as we don’t have to go outside!
Going for the paper was a chilling affair this morning! You
and Bo stay warm! Guess no lake walking this week, huh!
Good freezing morning and (((((HUGS))))) to you.
No kidding about being the coldest spot today.
I went to get something to eat, but that building was out of power.
Yeah...what’s up with this bitter cold in the desert!! LOL!
Stay warm!
Good morning HiJinx and (((((HUGS))))) to you. We are having rolling blackouts in Texas, since two power plants went off line during the night.
So far, our power has stayed on at work. It was 18º here earlier this morning, with some hill country temps in the single digits.
Wow! My brother in Houston area is having rolling blackouts
as well as the town I work in (Midland). One of my friends
said that power was off here, too, but thankfully, not at
my house.
A water tower has burst in a small town north of us. Crazy, huh?
Nothing major here for weather. Rain that turned into ice. The roads are dangerous. Sorry about that...I got busy on other things last night.
Mornin’ Canteeners! Second day of sittin’ in the house waitin’ for the all clear to return to work. I’m fine but the roads are all blocked by stranded cars and big rigs.
We're not as cold as you, but we've dipped into the 30s now and there's a strong wind. It rained all night and most of the day and sometime during all that, the temperature plummeted and is still dropping.
No likey!
Hi Jinxie ((HUGS))
Got through the training early this morning. Wasn’t too bad as we now can do it online. I chose slides with audio so that I could at least hear what was being said while my eyes glazed over. LOL
I had a problem with one training I did back in Oct. that they said I hadn’t done. Went online and saw I did not get credit for it. After some checking it seems that there was some strange final slide that I did not see which prevented me from getting certified. DUH!
Now all done and caught up.
You get any of the snow?
Stuff on US-75 going every which way?
I can imagine some of the hilly roads in Tulsa being a mess. My son was there for awhile, and has a few icy road stories to tell.
We got a very light dusting on the mountain-tops on Monday. It’s been clear and cold since then!
Sounds like your system is the same as ours. We can choose to take the training with just slides, slides and audio, or video.
And that last slide is a real gotchya. The good news is, we can certify we took the training online if the system doesn’t catch our completion.
Looks like they are letting us go at noon. Too bad about the water tower.
We may not get above 28 or so today.
