Looks like Lowes didn’t hire(or pay off) enough Politicians and Mexicans like Home Depot did. Therefore THEY MUSH be punished!

Eventually, they have to stop saying the economy is recovering. Right?

I just remember the nonstop talking down of the economy throughout the Bush years. The media makes me sick.

I’ve only had one problem with a sales person at Lowe’s and I don’t think he is there any longer. I enjoy shopping at Lowe’s. I call it my toy store. I have found their employees more than helpful and very knowledgeable. I can’t say the same about Home Depot.

Can you just imagine how bad it would be if Zero wasn’t “focusing in like a laser beam on jobs”? /s

My local Lowes is always nearly empty. Menards and Home Depot seem to be weathering the storm better.

I read the article. Granted, it's Lowe's Company Spin.

But, it sounds like they're either demoting or getting rid of 1700 people that tell people to work, and ramping up their hourly / part-time staff.

Saves them $$$ and sounds like it puts bodies on the floor. Might be a good idea.

Well, that is really too bad. We recently had our entire kitchen remodeled with all Lowes appliances and countertops. We were thrilled with the excellent service at all stages of the remodel. The Lowes employees we dealt with couldn’t have been more friendly, helpful and competent.
Thank you Mr Hussein Obummy for saving all those jobs. I hope your commie ass can sleep well.

I’ll shop at Lowe’s over Homo Depot any day and Lowe’s offers a military discount to veterans.

People can’t afford to buy a house.

Now people can’t even afford to ‘fix up’ a house!

Another good commercial for 2012.
