Chris Matthews was nearly apoplectic in his questioning of Tea Party Express co-founder Sal Russo on the topic of Congresswoman Michele Bachmann and her controversial re-imagining of history where the founding fathers found a way to end slavery in their lifetime. Repeatedly calling Bachmann a "balloon head," Matthews demanded to know why Russo and the Tea Party wanted Bachmann to give a response to the State of the Union address or, more generally, why they ever wanted her to open her mouth in the first place?

I think Matthews is able to make conservatives that go on his program look like idiots is because it’s truly hard to argue with the insane. I will never understand why they continue to do it.
I think Olbermann is more likely to end up as a mashed up bag of meat in his fridge after he tics of one of his boyfriends one too many times. :)

Monday he spent a couple of segments complaining about a couple of clips of Glenn Beck. He asks “Why would anyone watch this?” and his guest replies “ He has a huge audience”. Funny part is that Glenn Beck is in the same 5pm EST as Matthews and kills him in ratings. And Beck's shows are not ALL interesting (to me anyway), some I really like, others I find boring.

Perhaps he and his ilk were traumatized at the onset of puberty. I was highly impressed with what Michelle Bachman said, and how she said it sooooo providentially! The rendered sting less Media Mosquito’s have gone into swarm mode because she aand Paul Ryan made so much sense.

I would dearly love to see, once, just once, one of his guests just verbally take him apart for his ridiculous temper tantrums. Just call him to the carpet and simply lambaste him...
With such a disdain of the female sex one wonders if he is a full-fledged “drag queen” or at best a “latent homosexual” with genuine hatred for his mother.
That particular segment yesterday I saw at the gym after work. But in general I believe ignoring the other side is a mistake. “Know your enemy” .
MSNBC varies between progressivism (Maddow/Schultz) to pro-Obama first (make him succeed.) Alternatively FNC varies from conservatism (Cavuto) to promote Republicans first (Hannity.)
The most fun is when they are reporting the same issue at the same time, especially polls, and I can see both on TVs at the gym at the same time segment.

The exposure and coverage he gets just from Free Republic postings probably exceeds those who watched the original broadcast.

I don't care what he says - that's not the issue. I wouldn't want our people going on a show with the grand dragonmaster (of whatever those nuts call their leaders) of the KKK either - and for the same reason. We should not give credibility ( by our presence ) to hate groups.
I think every conservative that goes on his show should immediately warn him that he has a reputation for interrupting answers, and they will not put up with it. He’ll interrupt, give final warning. he will again and they should just take off microphone/earphone and walk out. And then refuse to return. Happens enough and even his producers will have to tell him to grow up.
What is wrong with crissy anyway? He calls Ms. Bachman a balloon head? Where is he? At a news desk or at the school playground? His mouth is in overdrive and his spit is getting worse. This man is full of hate. Wow, I couldn’t live with someone so hateful and nasty. Talk about anger management. All that yelling and name calling...ole crissy might want to look in and see what anger management is all about.
And for the record, it was those who opposed slavery who didn't want them counted and those who favored it who did, because counting them as full persons would mean more representation in Congress for their states (and yet the voting for those states wouldn't involve the slaves voting, of course, so it's even more influence for the slave-holders if they counted fully).
The original intent of the 3/5ths compromise was for purposes of determining wealth and therefore taxation. The south, dominated by democrats who wished to have their cake and eat it too, protested vehemently against allowing indians and slaves to count as anything at all.
Then, when it became apparent that these "non-entities" had value in terms of congressional reprepresentation, they flip-flopped and wanted them counted as "whole and complete" - but only in the pure abstract towards a representational tally - not as human beings.
Damn. He’s really lost it, hasn’t he? I mean, he’s going headlong into Olberman territory.
