It's bipartisan date night on the floor of the House and invitations are flying. But not all are being accepted.
House Democratic Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi has rejected an invitation from Majority Leader Eric Cantor, R-Va., to sit together at the President's State of the Union Address.
Pelosi moments ago announced that she had already extended an invitation to Rep. Roscoe Bartlett, of Maryland, who also happens to be a Republican.
Cantor was shot down in a tweet from the former speaker.
"I thank @GOPLeader for his #SOTU offer, but I invited my friend Rep. Bartlett from MD yesterday & am pleased he accepted."

Tomorrow's papers will be abuzz with juicy items on who was asked by whom, who sat with whom, and what Lindsey Graham wore.

Just how bad has this gotten?
The last heard 60 or so congresscritters were involved, and of those 11 or 12 were R’s, all the rest D’s.

I am so glad there is nothing urgent or important for our congress critters to worry about except who they will sit next to at lunch the SOTU address.

I would hope that this would teach Eric that "bipartisanship" is a one-way street, but I know better.

Damned if she did and damned if she didn't.
We'd be criticizing her if she accepted Cantor's offer and ditched her first 'date'.
Did I just defend Pelosi?
Must be getting senile.
To: camerongood210
Completely stupid. Next they will be “saving seats” for each other and holding hands.

When will the GOP learn that the democrat party are NOT their friends???
They declared war and the GOP wants a touchy-feely Kodak moment.
