Hawaii's seventh elected governor, Neil Abercrombie, knows he has a tough job. He ran for it, calling the post the cornerstone of a life in politics.
While he goes to work knowing he heads up a state with a projected two-year budget deficit of nearly $800 million, Abercrombie says he is ready with answers.
In an interview Friday with Star-Advertiser political columnist Richard Borreca, Abercrombie talked about his plans and explained some of his early decisions since being inaugurated Dec. 6.

Q: You stirred up quite a controversy with your comments regarding birthers and your plans to release more information regarding President Barack Obama's birth certificate. How is that coming?
A: I got a letter from someone the other day who was genuinely concerned about it; it is not all just political agenda. They were talking on Olelo last night about this; it has a political implication for 2012 that we simply cannot have.

It was actually written I am told, this is what our investigation is showing, it actually exists in the archives, written down ...

This is incredible. It’s actually written down? He claims they’ve got a recording of the birth? lol.
This guy is dancing in so many circles to avoid saying something legally binding that he’d look like a pretzel if he wasn’t so fat. lol
Or is the reporter chopping up his statements? The rest of the interview appears to be typed verbatim and all of a sudden on this subject we get paranthetical summaries of what he’s supposedly saying.

He knows they don’t have a long-form for Obama and he doesn’t want to say anything specific because if we can get a state bill passed like the one at http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/2656925/posts his rear is gonna be busted when he shows the forgery he’s planning to use.
We need to get at least one state to pass a bill like that. Then the bureaucrats will all have to come clean - not only on Obama but on ANY presidential candidate.
The state legislatures are the only place the will of the people is pressing enough to actually cause real bureaucratic accountability.

This guy is scared spitless that a state will pass a law like the one I’ve suggested.
I wonder how much of Obama’s billion-dollar re-election funding is designated for fighting lawsuits.
If a bill like the one I’ve suggested gets passed he will have to start early to spend that much money, because the suits need to be resolved before his name could be placed on the ballot. It’s he who would be under the time constraint; he who would have to prove his eligibility by the deadline rather than somebody else disproving his eligibility.
This article should be sent to state reps who want to see Obama gone after 2012. Hawaii has next to zilch.
What is the best way to get the attention of state legislators so they will act on a proposal? Should a person go through the party apparatus, the Tea Parties, send e-mails, call? What? I don’t know how to do this but it desperately needs to get done.
