Fox News' Trace Gallagher reporting via phone on the Sean Hannity radio show from Tucson says the parents of accused Rep. Giffords shooter Jared Loughner are blocking the FBI from entering their home.
Gallagher said Fox is sending a crew to the scene.
FOX News: FBI is now inside the house.
FBI walked around the piece of plywood “barricade” is now in the house talking to the parents, per Fox.
I think that's code for in the bath house, later...
You know it was reported he had contact with Giffords previously via ‘court documents’.
Also he got in trouble several times and went to a ‘diversion’ program. (shakes head)
Maybe the political sheriff could fill us in on that (nah, i’m sure they’re muzzled by now).
“Family members of Jared Loughner apparently had put on 4-by-4 double-thick plywood that blocked access to the front porch of their north Tucson home.”
I turned on Fox. LEO has a warrant and the plywood blocking their way was not. They just walked around it and went inside.
“They did get a warrant to search jareds place. Why should the FBI be allowed to search all his relatives homes as well? I dont blame them for not allowing the fbi in.”
Me too! If there’s probable cause, they’ll be able to get a warrant.
I believe the local,Federal jurists HAD to recuse themselves due to personally know one of the victims, Judge Roll. To act other could give the defense attorney appeal merit.
It’s good to see that the FBI is not totally devoid of common sense.
People waiving their rights because they have ‘nothing to hide’ is what gives cops the idea that the only people who insist on their rights are the ones who DO.
List of things I will never do...
1) take a lie detector test under any circumstances. It is not admissible in court for a reason.
2) Allow any law enforcement officer to enter my home or vehicle without a warrant. That includes your dog. I do not give your drug sniffing dog permission either.
3) Allow myself to be removed from my home or vehicle due to a general search ( an escaped criminal is in the area, a child is lost, we want to search your residence) or ( this is a drink driving enforcement roadblock. Exit your vehicle for a drunk test )
4) Speak to a law enforcement official, even if I am a witness, without an attorney present.
These rights are guaranteed to me under the constitution of the United States of America, and I do not give a crap who says or thinks what about it. If I were the parents of this kid, I would not allow them to search my home either. Not without a warrant ( I do believe a warrant can and probably will be granted, given the situation )...
Dupnik sounds like he is screwing up this entire investigation. This sounds like something that law enforcement would want under the radar until later.
This, my friend, is important to remember.
Anyone know who presided over the rancher deaths in her district?
Trace on the scene now- all is well- FBI is in the house- went in the back door- maybe the barricade in front is to keep the media away?
From AZ CENTRAL:
FBI agents working on the Gabrielle Giffords shooing encountered trouble gaining entry to the suspect’s family home Monday morning.
Family members of Jared Loughner apparently had put on 4-by-4 double-thick plywood that blocked access to the front porch of their north Tucson home.
At about 12:25 p.m., agents began banging on the blockade, yelling, “This is the FBI. Let us in.”
Some agents were sent behind the house, and they were able to get inside after talking to family members.
It’s not immediately clear why the Loughner family had put up the blockade, but there were reports of at least one media representative who had gotten to the yard of the family home earlier in the day. Loughner remains in custody and has an appearance in federal court later Monday.
We are overlooking the obvious
We know the SOB did it. He was arrested at the scene being held by people who witnessed the shooting and he had the gun.
What’s the point of all this crap? Double-tap to the back of the head and we go watch the game.
Bill Ayers
Jared Lee Loughner, the suspected gunman in Saturday’s Arizona shooting, attended a high school that is part of a network in which teachers are trained and provided resources by a liberal group founded by Weatherman terrorist Bill Ayers and funded by President Obama, WND has learned.
The group, Small Schools Workshop, has been led by a former top communist activist who is an associate of Ayers.
Obama provided the group with funds in the 1990s when he worked at an education reform group alongside Ayers.
Loughner attended Mountain View High School, which is part of Arizona’s Morana Unified School District.

Did this guy live at home? Or on his own?
The police who responded to the scene canvassed the neighborhood and interviewed witnesses (including him). The police came to his door, asked a bunch of questions, and went over to the window from where he said he had seen the shooting, did some measurements, took some photos, etc.
He said he had a line of cocaine all laid out on his coffee table ready for "consumption" while this was all going on, and the police (who clearly knew what it was) just went about their business and pretended not to see it. I guess it would have gotten a little messy in the courts if they had busted him for it, especially since they might have needed his help later on as a witness in the case.
“The FBI should call that ASPCA and report that they are hurting animals. Those NAZIs will storm the house.”
Even worse, they may not have installed low-flow toilets or changed from incandescent light bulbs. The horror!
