I’m confused. Dupnik confirmed to Fox News (Megyn Kelly I think) that the FBI had found a letter from Giffords (dated 2007) in a safe at Loughner’s home. He had written “I planned ahead my assassination” then he signed it. Dupnik sounds like he is screwing up this entire investigation. This sounds like something that law enforcement would want under the radar until later.

If Sheriff Dipwick had a file on Jared, he’s going to have to explain why he didn’t seek to have a “hold” placed on him that eventually allowed him to buy that gun...IMHO
