Police in Delaware are slowly piecing together the details surrounding the death of former presidential advisor John P. "Jack" Wheeler III.
It now seems Wheeler spent at least two days wandering the streets of Wilmington disoriented.
Police say Wheeler traveled from Washington, D.C., where he worked, to Wilmington Tuesday on an AMTRAK train. He was last seen alive at 3:30 p.m. Thursday near the Hotel duPont parking garage at 10th and Orange streets.
Iman Goldsborough, the parking lot attendant, encountered a man she believes was Wheeler on Wednesday night near the intersection where he was last officially seen Thursday.
Goldsborough says the man came up to her looking for help finding his car, but he appeared disheveled and disoriented. He was without a coat and unable to find his car.
(According to police, Wheeler's car was parked in his monthly space at the DoubleTree Hotel's garage, closer to the train station.)
The man was wearing a suit and tie but was also only wearing one shoe and carrying the other. He said he wanted to get warm before paying for his ticket. Goldsborough said she thought the man seemed like he was suffering from dementia.
Kathleen Boyer, a security guard at the New Castle County Courthouse, said a man she now believes was Wheeler told her he was dropped off by his brother two days prior so he could visit his mother, in Wilmington. The man did not have any apparent injuries but did mention he was robbed of his briefcase. He was looking for a hotel and wanted to know where Front Street was.
Boyer, and two other employees, offered to help him and even offered him some money, which he declined.

I said that I received an e-mail not that I read this source as if I subscribe to it. I have no clue as to who the person who writes this is nor do I subscribe to it. I am just sharing what showed up in my inbox this morning.
This article has this wrong. The DoubleTree Hotel's garage is 2 block in the other direction at 7th & King St. Not that it matters, but I'm just saying...
Heart Attack = NSA
Dead family pets and dead family in a hail of endless gunfire, followed by the draining of any estuary = FBI.
While I don't believe the story line, this statement is, sadly nevertheless, a pretty accurate assessment.
Who knows; Wheeler may have gotten some real help for a stroke or whatever he was suffering from or 'whom' he may have suffered from. That they simply watched him 'go' off on his own; seems at the least, irresponsible.
I take that back. I just read this article where he was seen closer to the train station looking for his car. Apparently, the guy was suffering from some sort of dementia.

<And Goldsborough never thought to call 911?
I just saw her on the news and she seemed nice enough, and certainly observant, but I thought the same thing you did - you have a disoriented person in front of you, with no coat on and 1 shoe in his hand and you don’t take this person aside and call the police? Seems like a no brainer to me.
Do you have any idea what bizarro behavior the serf class in the DC metro area is exposed to on a daily basis from their masters? Taking an interest into what these elites who provide your wages is frowned upon. For all the attendant knew the guy was just at a Gary Condit party. Don’t Ask / Don’t Tell, philosophy applies to much more than being gay and in the army ya’ know.
The problem with the accusation of aircraft malfunction releasing the gas is that the ‘deaths’ seemed to be to specific species.
Were it aerial poisonous gas, it would have killed all flying species, rather than just the starlings.
Were it poisonous gas released into the Arkansas river, it would have killed more than just the drum fish.

Quantities (a few dozen to tens of thousands) of birds falling out of the sky have been noticed in numerous locations through the world. Just this morning a report came out of Scandinavia.
==
A caller to Michael Savage’s radio program speculated that Wheeler may have been involved with the Stuxnet virus and his death was in retaliation.
==
A lot of speculation. Few answers. And the results of autopsies of the dead species probably won’t satisfy the tinfoil crowds.
Exploding fireworks?
#1, very few small towns typically set off fireworks on New Years.
#2, if they do, it would be at midnight, not during the day.
#3, we don’t hear about massive numbers of birds falling out of the sky on the 4th of July.

Many things can lead to sudden dementia. A stroke certainly. Also, prescription pain killers can do it. Wilmington has such a high crime rate that most of the stores & restaurants close after 6:00 pm. If the guy was wandering the streets in Wilmington, he was most likely mugged.
“#3, we dont hear about massive numbers of birds falling out of the sky on the 4th of July.”
Very good point.
“Suffered a stroke and then was victimized by a street thug?”
How about suffered a stroke and in his disorientation climbed into a garbage dumpster in an attempt to get out of the very cold weather.........
The garbage dumpsters the truck picked up were 15 miles away in Newark, DE. I don’t see how he could have walked there, do you?
Depends upon the indigenous street people population in any big city. If they are a constant presence, no one is going to call the police. You will write off anyone acting that way as just another drunken bum.
Street bums are a constant presence in Wilmington.
Sounds most likely to me too since it's the simplest explanation. Disoriented, looking for warmth, dies alone in a dumpster. Poor guy.
If you want to keep your job and pulse in the DC area, you do not call 911 on any of the disoriented ruling elites there unless they tell you to do so, with exacting words. To call 911 every time one of the elites gets pissed up, sexed up, confused or disoriented would crash the system, and that’s with congress out of session.
The police in this area do not like to be bothered, and they will make you sorry you ever got involved. Anyone who’s been here for any length of time is conditioned not to get involved. It doesn’t solve anything, and it only causes the good Samaritan problems.
He told them his brief case had been stolen....Mugged/hit on the head would cause disorientation. 911 should have been called no matter what the system said.
What was in that brief case?
