COLUMBUS, Ohio - A judge is allowing Ohio to cancel the registrations of thousands of vehicles...driven by illegal immigrants. Monday's ruling was a defeat for the League of United Latin American Citizens...which argued that Ohio was illegally delving into U.S. immigration policy, is considering an appeal. Franklin County Common Pleas Court Magistrate Pamela Browning said the state had a compelling public safety interest in canceling questionable registrations.
Ohio sent notices in October to the owners of more than 47,000 vehicles, informing them that their registrations would be canceled if they did not provide an Ohio driver's license, Ohio identification card or proof of a Social Security number by Dec. 8.
...drivers who can't provide adequate identification risk going to jail, with illegal immigrants potentially facing deportation.

That’s not fair. How are those illegals going to get to the polls? I guess they will just have to submit absentee ballots, perhaps from their homes in Mexico.
open border ping
it is about time.
Don’t worry about it— the DNC will be glad to supply pre-voted ballots. If your vote isn’t delivered to the nearest Dem official’s trunk in 30 minutes, your next deportation hearing is free!
Massachusetts used to put these particularly hard to remove stickers on unregistered vehicles when they returned them to illegals.
They come off with a blow torch.
I know this to be fact because they used to borrow my torch.
The question begs: Why have they been allowed to register a car without a license? I couldn't in my state.
Of course, I'm only a AMERCIAN citizen
You nailed it!! But damn fine judge.

Next up: Holder and the DOJ will be going after Ohio.
but it is a step
Ditto here. And to get or renew your drivers license, you have to provide two proofs of citizenship and residency. I am surprised they don’t ask for my first-born child, too. Yet the car dealers and insurance companies here advertise on TV that you don’t need “papeles de gringo” in order to buy their products. That is, they don’t ask for proof of legal residency. The ads tick me off. The message is definitely that there is apparently a double standard for the native born and the illegals.
Stolen tags will become a flea market commodity
Actually, I think it’s hugh.
That is exactly what will happen.
Cue the ACLU in how many seconds?
I love the mafia style threat from LULAC that ruling against them would bring a response from the Federal level.
Aren’t deportation hearing free anyway to the “poor undocumented worker?” /s
