We already told you how the weather could affect tonights game, with Philadelphia expecting about a foot of snow with winds gusting as much as 45 mph. But the NFL, most likely wanting to protect the tens of thousands of fans who have tickets for tonights game, has decided to move it back 48 hours.

These things will happen when you have a liberal wimp for a mayor.
AMEN BROTHER!!!!!
It’s snowing in Chicago and they’re playing. I guess the East Coasters are just a bunch of wusses!
You didn’t miss anything. It was an hour-long pregame show that seemed to last two hours. People need to just shut up and show the football games.
Come now Brett Favre called up the NFL Commissioner and said, if I have to play in the snow I will retire. So the NFL decided to move the game to Tuesday so Brett Favre will not retire until 2012 or sometime later.
Quit your cable. Get DirecTV. No problem. Also get the NFL package —— never miss a game.
Play the game. The Vikings went through worse for each of their two ‘home’ dates.
Ten inches of snow is nothing. We’ve had over four feet of it this month where I live and we aren’t even in the snow belt.
I guess this would be the comparison:
Pan in on an empty stadium..Here we are with a few inches of global warming on the ground at Lincoln Financial Field (cue in The Three Stooges theme music).
instead of...
Pan in on a full stadium..Here we are on the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field (cue in the NFL Films theme music).
Super Bowl in 2014 will be in the Meadowlands. Hopefully they won’t get snowed out.
They didn’t used to postpone. Players union is behind it.
Jimmy Hoffa will attend; or did they build a new stadium?
2 ft of snow, 30 mph winds Public safety issue.
To fill the time tonight, NBC is going to broadcast “Ed Show” highlight for 3 hours
Yep they build a new stadium for the Giants and Jets, which opened in 2009, I believe? The old Giants Stadium which Jimmy Hoffa allegedly could have been buried at is long gone.
Agreed, a bunch of panzie arsed whimps.
It’s only happened a handful of times. Usually due to lightning, the Dolphins had a couple of unlucky starts to the season where hurricanes caused games to be moved or time shifted. Basically the rule is if the weather is dangerous avoid it, if it’s just annoying play through. A foot of snow with 45 mile an hour gusts is dangerous weather.
Game cancelled moved because of snow? Football?
Pretty soon games will be played in stadiums made of nerf fields with heated and air conditioned viewing boxes for the spectators.......
NFL now stands for National Feminine League. Goodell is a joke.
There isn’t a single forecast calling for two feet. 6-10 inches is the forecast. Nothing.
