A couple more posters got zotted today.
Guess we need another reminder:
If you support the homosexual agenda you are anti-constitution and you'll get the zot from FR. Homosexuals already have the same "rights" as everyone else. God did not grant and the constitution does not guarantee homosexuals any special rights. In fact, the homosexual agenda is a full frontal attack on OUR God-given, constitutionally protected rights to free speech, freedom of religion, freedom of association, Life, Family, Marriage, Pursuit of Happiness, etc.
I don't want it on FR and won't have it on FR.
Like abortion, if you support the homosexual agenda on FR, your account here will be zotted!
Don't like it? Tough frickin Shinola! Get the hell OFF this conservative site!!
You posed that question to Jim. Here's one answer. Jim isn't president, although he'd make a *grate* one.
I do not support the persecution of anyone, Christian or gay.
I believe that chaplains should be able to continue to teach from the Bible as they did before. (You know “the men shouldn’t like with men as they do with women” verse doesn’t come up often in my Church readings.) I believe God loves gay people as much as he loves straights. God’s love is unconditional. That is straight from the Bible. Remember that Jesus loved sinners (whores, Romans, and tax collectors.)
I believe in the 14th Amendment which basically that all rights apply to all American citizens. To not allow a group of people to serve would violate the Constitution.
I also think that 1) This is all for show and nothing will come of it.[much like closing Gitmo promise] 2) It won’t change much even if it does get enacted. 3) No interior decorator will sign up to be shot at just because they can.
did the big words throw you off?
did the big words throw you off?
***No, the simple ones do. Like here, where you say, “You demean us with your knuckle-dragging calls of homo and fag...”
So that means by using the term “us” that you consider yourself one of “them”. And that throws your christian BS out the window. You’re basically signing up for a zot because you’re supporting the homosexual agenda. Have fun in school, oh educated one.

Neither do I. But let's not use vulgar slang. The word is "homosexual."

Good.

Yes, true.
But He didn't love the SIN, did he? What is your response to that?

Oh, really? What is your precedent for this aberrant opinion?
I also think that 1) This is all for show and nothing will come of it.[much like closing Gitmo promise] 2) It wont change much even if it does get enacted. 3) No interior decorator will sign up to be shot at just because they can.
Nothing from that paragraph is intelligent, so I won't respond to it, except to ask this: Do you really believe that "nothing will come of it"?
Good. I respect that. It lets me know who to avoid.
What is the difference between this JimRob edict and what Jim Phelps says?

So what you are telling me is that reading comprehension is not your strong point, sunshine?
In the context of the sentence, “us” refers to conservatives.
Oh, so now that’s 2 sentences worth of backtracking. What a poorly written opus for someone so educated.
I doubt you’ll survive anyways. Best of luck defending against the zot. Maybe if you take a writing class, that will help.
Nice pile of tripe you wrote there. I'll come right out and say it- Yes, if those "special" groups cannot or will not get it through their heads that the military's purpose is to kill people and break things, that it is intended to be a homogenous organization without special interests that interfere with the intended mission, they have no place in it. The military was never meant to be some freaking social experiment.
Well there is that whole Brown v, The Board of Education precedent or more recently, Bush v. Gore. All afforded equal protection under the law.
If gays want to fight and kill the enemy, why should you not let them?
who is backtracking?
Is my “opus” poorly written or poorly read?
The United States military DISCRIMINATES! Do you not understand that? Flat feet, asthma, obesity, frailty, age, homosexuality... you name it, you can be refused entry into military service if you're deemed unfit.
Now I'll ask again, where is your judicial precedent that military discrimination is unconstitutional?
More than anything else, the homosexual community wants social sanction of their behavior; and, no matter how aggressive our political class becomes, the people of this country will never sanction homosexuality.
Homosexuality never was, is not, and never will be just as good as heterosexuality. God made us the way we are for a reason.
Scanning the profiles Jim, looks like we have a target... he erased his page... wonder why...

“What is the difference between this JimRob edict and what Jim Phelps says?”
For one thing, Jim Robinson didn’t say he hates homosexuals, nor did he say that God hates them, either.
He, also, didn’t say that God hates the military, as the Phelps gang says.
You equating Free Republic’s house rules with the Phelps group is obscene, at best.
This is what he said...
“If you support the homosexual agenda you are anti-constitution and you’ll get the zot from FR. Homosexuals already have the same “rights” as everyone else. If you disagree with Mr. Robinson, maybe you should go on your merry way, and stop embarrassing yourself with arguments such as the one addressed in my post.
I would be sorry to see you go, but should you decide to adhere to your opus...........then I wish you a very Merry Christmas, and a happy, prosperous and healthy New Year.
I'm off to bed now. As you've zotted yourself, enjoy your martyrdom.
I'm sure you will. Self-important people always enjoy their maryrdom.
{waving hand} I want in.
I'm reading through this whole thread because it's a quiet Sunday and there's not a lot to do...
Aside from fighting jet-lag.
I'll make my stance clear- Their special interest has no place in the military. It's nothing more than an announcement that they are "different" and want preferential treatment. That, in and of itself, is detrimental to unit cohesiveness and discipline in a fighting force.
