Oh dear. Thank goodness, the tribute to Saint Elizabeth Edwards was brief.
He claims we have committed over 23.7 trillion worldwide. This is a historically huge amount and possibly IMHO breaking the bank of the US. How the hell do you pay this much back? How do you even come up with this much--simply print it?
He makes me want to beat him up and steal his lunch money. :-)
Tyranny and Communism come to mind.
Numbers have power because most people just hear them emotionally. One trillion sounds like one billion or even one million to too many people. One thousand billion or nine hundred ninety nine billion would be much more powerful and so the *large* numbers are avoided.
Look how the new extension of unemployment checks is known as “13 months” rather than “56 weeks.” Thirteen is much less threatening than fifty-six.
LOL. He’s very annoying!
Exactly right Tom, numbers like this, when spent, have no other job to do than destroy a currency. Can you say George Soros?
I don’t even watch the Sunday show anymore. All they do is lie and spread disinformation. You have to really listen to the Rats to realize how destructive they really are. If you listen in passing it sounds oh so wonderful BUT thats not the case. The Rats play on emotion with no logical connection to reality.
Yet another huge issue(the budget) that is never discussed by the DBM. Where is the budget? If we tried to pull something like that you would read about it in every DBM newspaper and every letter net tv. Not so for the dems.
One other comment on events of the week that probably won’t be covered on today’s shows; This year the Nobel Peace Prize was presented to an empty chair. Last year it was presented to an empty suit. Prediction for next year:? Presented to an empty room.
I needed that one.ROTFLMAO!!
What is scary is if Neil Barofsky who is the Special Inspector General for the Troubled Assets Relief Program—(TARP) claims are correct we are in deep trouble, possibly irretrievable.

Of course that amount breaks us, irretrievably, AND THAT WAS AS OF JULY, 2009.
I am here to see Paul Ryan and he’s on now.
I am beyond words. How does this stop? Doesn’t Congress have to have a say in authorizing such amounts? What happened? How did all this happen?
About the only this that will save us is if/when we tap all our natural resourses.
I am watching Goulsbee for the first time, fascinated because he is projecting panic. He seems to recognize that the tax rate has to stay the same on January first. He still hangs on to the idea that the highest earners should pay more, but he has conceded that the argument for taxing ‘the rich’ will have to be passed down the road for the next two years.
Neither he nor Gregory has mentioned the words “cut” or “reduce spending.”
Thanks for the pic, Diogenesis! Great graphic!
Amen. Sorry about her untimely demise, but she didn’t become a saint because of it. Sick of hearing her lauded as one.
She was lawyer spouse trash
