I am watching Goulsbee for the first time, fascinated because he is projecting panic. He seems to recognize that the tax rate has to stay the same on January first. He still hangs on to the idea that the highest earners should pay more, but he has conceded that the argument for taxing ‘the rich’ will have to be passed down the road for the next two years.

Neither he nor Gregory has mentioned the words “cut” or “reduce spending.”

Their alternate universe is so bizarre.

It's as if they think there's some magic in their "formulas" that will do an end run around economic reality.

Has the GOP learned nothing from the 'Rats' "No WMDs in Iraq" lie? The GOP should be hurling the B Hussein Obama regime's own IRS data--that show just what percent of income taxes are paid by the highest income earners--back at the 'Rats every day. And they should explain the difference in America between wealth and income. This is not rocket science. Don't let the 'Rats lie.
