What is scary is if Neil Barofsky who is the Special Inspector General for the Troubled Assets Relief Program—(TARP) claims are correct we are in deep trouble, possibly irretrievable.

He claims we have committed over 23.7 trillion worldwide. This is a historically huge amount and possibly IMHO breaking the bank of the US. How the hell do you pay this much back? How do you even come up with this much—simply print it?

Of course that amount breaks us, irretrievably, AND THAT WAS AS OF JULY, 2009.

I am beyond words. How does this stop? Doesn’t Congress have to have a say in authorizing such amounts? What happened? How did all this happen?

About the only this that will save us is if/when we tap all our natural resourses.
