His MOS defined what security clearance he had and that clearance got him thru the front door. Once inside he must have done a lot of snooping around to find what he did.
OR, he could have provided an outside source his computer pass codes thereby "opening the door" and allowing them free access to the network. I don't think the PFC had enough computer smarts to find all the information that ended up in WikiLeaks posession, that was most likely done by a WikiLeaks tech expert who was smart enought to be able to navigate the network without being discovered.........
> Assange belongs in Gitmo.
Assange belongs in a slab of concrete.
“We all know the files deal with extraterrestrial life and the governments coverup of Roswell.”
Friday night George Noory of Coast to Coast said that might be in there also.
Perhaps this is why no one is doing anything about it.
They know what is in those files.
They don’t want us to know.
So how do you keep Assange from telling us the good stuff????????
Pay him money
Keep him alive.
He can’t release all the stuff because then he might dead.
It seems to me this is the wildest espionage event in history. Of course, I am not a history buff.
not to me. He has delivered.
“Why is this guy still alive? Who in their right mind would let him live must have his head up his a**. “
Yup. The argument is made that some of what has been revealed was productive, and so it may be. The problem has always been, when does it stop and do you want the world to be hostage to some pipsqueak.
Time to say goodbye Julian.
“How many traitors did we have that fed this crocodile?”
At least several decades worth. They Alinskied McCarthy before he could uncover the many commies in all levels of our government. Now we have one in the White House. PRAY.
Perhaps they show the Obama Administration outright blackmailing BP, or authorizing the "torture" of G'itmo prisoners. Let's see 'em!
Kind of makes me wonder what this nonsense is all about.
Makes me wonder just how sensitive most of this information really is.
Wonder if there's any info on the Lockerbie bomber deal...?
Zero and hold-on are in on it!
I can think of another scheme; a computer “virus bomb” that will explode if he doesn’t feed it regularly, and when set off it broadcasts all over the internet parroting the key. But, I think this isn’t very reliable either, technologically speaking.
At the end one has to take into account the possibility of the bundle being just a dud; after all, one can verify it just once.
If I know my crypto well, and the key is, let’s say, 100 million bits long, there’s not enough computing power in all the atoms in the galaxy turned to transistors to break the encryption, short of a bug on the encryption scheme or sheer luck.
That said, I don’t think the NSA could have cracked it because I believe there is nothing to crack. It’s easier to keep the mathies guessing if what’s there is just a lot of thermal noise readings. After all, if he’s dead it makes no difference. And if he’s alive, and the bundle is really bad, he’s not going to stay that way for long.
>> are you missing the obvious?
Assuming the major parties including Assange (and his trust) arrive at some understanding “the key” is not to be released, will the major parties protect him from the grips of an outside operation that could jeopardize the arrangement?
Any party of Assange’s trust involved in unlocking the alleged “information nuke” would be found and prosecuted. They, if “they” exist, may not be all that eager to pull the pin especially in the case of an unexpected condition.
It could be argued that Assange needs the protection of those he’s threatening.
I elaborate in post #59.
