Sarah Palin: 'We've got to stand with our North Korean allies' (Liberals Are Loving It)

Sarah Palin never claimed she could see Russia from her house – that was Tina Fey – but she went one better on Glenn Beck's radio show in discussing the tensions in the Korean Peninsula and saying: "We've got to stand with our North Korean allies".

A transcript of the radio show reads:

Interviewer: How would you handle a situation like the one that just developed in North Korea?

Palin: Well, North Korea, this is stemming from a greater problem, when we're all sitting around asking, 'Oh no, what are we going to do,' and we're not having a lot of faith that the White House is going to come out with a strong enough policy to sanction what it is that North Korea is going to do. So this speaks to a bigger picture that certainly scares me in terms of our national security policy. But obviously, we've got to stand with our North Korean allies – we're bound to by treaty....

Interviewer: South Korean.

Palin: Yes, and we're also bound by prudence to stand with our South Korean allies, yes.

I hope Palin has the presence of mind to say something like, Hey, I made a slip of the tongue. But at least I support my country, unlike the liberal media and Democrats who wanted President BUSH to FAIL in Iraq.

And will Obama finish his 10 year term.

(An understandable slip for an Indonesian, they have 10 year terms for presidents.)

I like the way Beck messes with the left with his antics, but he’s made it clear that he’s not a Republican. I really can’t figure out what he is and not sure if he considers himself a conservative.

Anyway, I just happened to catch this interview while running errands yesterday morning. Before he interviewed Sarah, he [or one of his alter egos on the show...hard to tell the difference sometimes] made the statement that he would support someone like Christie and would like to see him run - so that gave a bit of perspective regarding the interview, in which he obviously tried to manipulate her and throw her off - possibly get the kind of sound bite that’s being used here.

But he said many things to Sarah that were uncalled for and made him look small, such as telling her he would never put his kids in front of the media like she did.

Another thing he said bordered on condescending flattery and a backhanded compliment [paraphrased in his perky katie mode], “Sarah, Todd is so great. But..he’s great because you are in Alaska...I believe it would just ruin your family to move them to New York or D.C.”

But you could tell she was very aware and she handled him diplomatically, never lost her cool - just that one slip-up while she was rushing to get her thoughts out - and taken entirely out of context, and spread like gossip, by people who should know better.

Sarah is no fool as some on FR would want us believe. It was a great interview because of the way Sarah handled it, in spite of Beck’s personality/insecurity issues.

“People make mistakes and misspeak...but there is VERY LITTLE room for that if you are a Republican running for the top office.

MACACA ANYONE?”

Please stop it! That’s a tactic of the commie left, and as conservatives, we SHOULD NOT continue to perpetuate it amongst ourselves - otherwise, there is no one who will be left standing by that measure! Do you get it - or is that your aim here?

BTW, in case you’ve forgotten — we just had a blowout election where the commies pulled out all the stops, including, but not limited to, their best macaca moments - but they experienced a bloodbath nonetheless - didn’t they?

Where was the Communist media (rhetorical question) when 0b0z0 boo boos were evident:

57 states, corpse man, Mao’s picture on the WH Christmas tree, not visiting or mentioning states with deadly floods and tornadoes, incompetence in handling the oil spill, etc.?

The biggest utterance:

My Moslem faith!

Not to forget hiding ALL his records that makes 0b0z0 a ghost of a POTUS!

Ms. Palin is light-years ahead of any media critic. dem politician or the majority of repubs as well. I mean in terms of experience, intelligence, common sense, and last but not least, the all too rare (in DC) cajones!

Am I to believe she’s really a Communist at heart? Please.

A big part of Sarah’s charm is her spontaneity...but that is dangerous at the executive level. She needs a speech coach (ala Thatcher) and among the several things that coach needs to teach her is that she needs to think before she speaks and to weigh her words very carefully.

Okay...which of these sounds more like a lack of ability to think critically?

Someone engaged in a fast moving on the fly conversation about two countries in an interview and accidentally switches them, correcting themselves one second later...

Or people who liken her knowledge to a geography bee and hold the position that she really isn’t astute enough to know the difference between the two countries?

“Facts are stupid things” - a mispeak by Ronald Reagan, who immediately changed it to ‘stubborn things’.

Shame he proved himself unelectable.

Oh, wait ...

Politics aside, I don’t think someone who voluntarily seeks attention can be described as “going through hell”.

Yes! Awesome that someone else saw Glenn Beck for what he was doing to Sarah! I knew I was right. I'm telling you people Glen Beck set Sarah Up . This just shows to me that Beck is a Fake. And Michael Savage is even more of a fake .”Savage” donated the Maximum amount to democrat , pro-Amnesty Jerry Brown of California, proving “Savage” is a leftist mole:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1720425/posts
“It turns out that ultra-hot conservative talk show host Michael Savage is backing Oakland Mayor Jerry Brown for state attorney general. “What can I say? I think he'd make a great attorney general compared to the other guy. By the way, who is the other guy?’’ Savage said, when asked why he chose Democrat Brown over conservative Republican Chuck Poochigian. Savage, whose rants can be heard locally on KNEW-AM, is backing up his hot talk with some hot money as well. Savage Productions, which lists Savage as president and his wife, Janet Weiner, as director, has donated $5,600 to Brown's campaign.

Yes, Glenn Beck, Set Sarah Up. He is a condescending fake.If you listen closely like you and I did to this interview you will see that Beck hates Sarah Palin and was trying to get her.

I swear, that on another Interview , Beck said a comment to Palin that is demeaning to any woman , and especially a mother , that would be considered sexual harassment. I'm a man and I would have kicked his ass if he said that to my woman.

Beck said it in his stupid joking voice and laughing but it was still sexual harassment something about that Sarah would be thinking about some other man "yum yum give me some".

Someone engaged in a fast moving on the fly conversation

She needs to avoid 'fast moving conversations on the fly' if she plans to run in 2012.

“They single out Sarah over a single slip of words but they ignore Joe Biden and his NUMEROUS and ONGOING Gaffs. Get real people.”

This is the issue. It’s not Palin who flubbed once after getting 25 or 50 right. IT’s the biased and bigoted propagandist press.
