Very much in command of the facts, quick, firm and clear.
A bit less folksy, yakkity blather and more to the point with a more 'serious' demeanor. Which is good.
If I could give one word of advice to this talented and quick-minded woman, I would tell her to rachet down the bubbly quotient slightly.
She needs to be perceived as serious.... blending with her natural accessibility and warm personality.
She needs to occasionally set her jaw in conviction without breaking into the girly smile and deliver her obviously deeply held positions with authority.
She's got the content down 110%, if she'd just add more seriousness to her delivery...the trick is, such seriousness can't be contrived and should not replace her natural ebullience, wholesale--she needs to retain her authenticity--but a serious tone should be an additive feature, unflappable and strategically deployed.
You’ve got nothin...but PDS.
You are defined by your derangement.
Try being for something, it will make you happier. Liberalism is a spreading disease, so beware.
Paglia went after the liberal elite view that Palin is a bumbling fool unqualified for high office (h/t HillbillyKing):
As I have repeatedly said in this column, I have never had the slightest problem in understanding Sarah Palin’s meaning at any time. On the contrary, I have positively enjoyed her fresh, natural, rapid delivery with its syncopated stops and slides — a fabulous example of which was the way (in her recent interview with John Ziegler) that she used a soft, swooping satiric undertone to zing Katie Couric’s dippy narcissism and to assert her own outrage as a “mama grizzly” at libels against her family.
Ideology-driven attacks on Palin became clotted liberal clichés within 24 hours of her introduction as John McCain’s running mate. What a bunch of tittering lemmings the urban elite have become in this country. From Couric’s vicious manipulations of video clips to [Dick] Cavett’s bourgeois platitudes, the preemptive strike on Palin as a potential presidential candidate has grossly misfired. Whatever legitimate objections may be raised to Palin on political grounds (explored, for example, by David Talbot in Salon) have been lost in the amoral overkill that has defamed a self-made woman of concrete achievement in the public realm.
And let me take this opportunity to say that of all the innumerable print and broadcast journalists who have interviewed me in the U.S. and abroad since I arrived on the scene nearly 20 years ago, Katie Couric was definitively the stupidest. As a guest on NBC’s “Today” show during my 1992 book tour, I was astounded by Couric’s small, humorless, agenda-ridden mind, still registered in that pinched, tinny monotone that makes me rush across the room to change stations whenever her banal mini-editorials blare out at 5 p.m. on the CBS radio network. And of course I would never spoil my dinner by tuning into Couric’s TV evening news show. That sallow, wizened, drum-tight, cosmetic mummification look is not an appetite enhancer outside of Manhattan or L.A. There’s many a moose in Alaska with greater charm and pizazz.
Romney troll alert!
Palin is a deeply polarizing and opportunistic person. We dont need that nightmare after the nightmare of the most polarizing Obama. No, I am not a Romney fan. Although, if the only two candidates running are Palin and Romney, I will hold my nose and take Romney.

The problem seems to be with the class joining FReeRepublic in 2008. Hmmmm
All negative all together.
well the haters are going to hate. i thought the interview was good. hannity could have followed up a litte bit more but other than that Palin was hitting on all cylinders
Is that how you talk to people you don't know? Hey, you? Fix it. People will think you're better than you are.
Ask me later, if you care. I'm smokin' a stogie.
She is not a god, infallible or perfect.
IBTZ!!!!
. . . that's a joke, ladies and gentlemen . . . ;)
Good idea.
Good idea.
yeah nothing sexist about wanting a woman to speak like a man. nothing at all
Gee, no sexism there.
Your pal indianrightwinger favors Romney over Palin. How about you? Do you favor Romney over Palin?
If I attack her for her core beliefs, you could rightly attack me for PDS. Otherwise, you are just crying WOLF.
Try discerning the real enemies, they are at DU and Moveon.
You have interrupted my stogie smoking for the time being. Congratulations.
the enemy within is a bigger threat than the enemy without.
It takes more than 10 minutes to smoke a decent cigar. Gimme a break.
“All you can say to anyone who has the slightest criticism of Sarah is PDS this and PDS that. Is she beyond any fault?”
I call you on your BS. You don’t support anybody, you just relentlessly troll Palin threads.
That’s PDS. It’s a sickness, it can be healed. You should seek out some homeopathic medicine.
No, she needs to be herself. Genuine. Sarah Palin comes across plenty serious to me. The last thing she needs to do is start letting others make her over. Big mistake.
Exactly right.
A former colleague went on one of those (extremely expensive) schools as the corp. was grooming him for great things. He was pretty good at the outset but said the school was a real eye opener with regard to timing, delivery, deportment, dress, everything was included.
you just relentlessly troll Palin threads.
Let me check, I'll get back to ya.
