I'm not going to defend the TSA or the San Diego Police. But I think we should choose our "martyrs" carefully. Just as I am distrustful of lefties who put themselves into confrontation with authority, I am similarly distrustful of people who would appear to be on my side who provoke. These are people who would get a hard time from Israeli type security also. Their stories are probably not exactly as depicted.

I flew to San Diego last spring and remember thinking there sure wwere a lot of TSA agents and they were not particularly friendly looking....there were number of them at the arrival gate?!?!

I have been musing what if a person had one of these ‘fart’ blowers concealed in the crotch or buttocks area and when the TSA person got close for looking for it the blower could could be activated, add a little H2S for kicks.

I see they have now made it illegal to record the search as well so you cannot prove what they did to you or your kids. Maryland tried this with general police stops and recently lost in court. I would hope this will be rulled an illegal abridgment, but I can already hear the security argument that they cannot allow anyone to record their process.

Powell also stated that there was another arrest of a woman who was allegedly illegally filming the x-ray, and TSA screening process with a video camera. The young woman’s camera was confiscated and she was given a citation and released from Harbor Police custody.

Now it's "illegal" to film the public abuse of American citizens? One has to wonder what will be the next level in this escalation of intimidation.
